NEVER take the first offer, in fact you should laugh at it and say they aren't even close. This is if you are financing or leasing. If you're paying cash or already have a loan then just focus on the price. I'd use 10% to 15% of the factory sticker price. Don't be afraid to walk away if you don't like the deal.
