Just put a big fucking blob of vasoline on it. hehehe What I have done in the past in similiar situations is put a thick layer of lotion on it. I know you're not icing a fucking cake but this seems to help me when I'm in a situation where I can't "lube up" every few hours.

Never stop training!!! When I fuck up and give up my neck, I just tap. That's in training of course, tournament or on the street I'm not fucking tapping. In training I tap a lot, if the guy I'm rolling with get's the hold, I tap then start again. I've been injury free for the last 6 months.

I'm really digging Virtue Tattoo in Houston, TX right now, great set up, great art, great artists. Owned by Lana Gooding previously of Taylor Street Tattoo in Chicago. I had a Sailor Jerry Eagle done at virtue a couple of months ago, going to get a panther head and an anchor there in January. If you are in Houston check it out.

Love the WillRise Store Front, that fucking rocks. I just started collecting Flash Sheets so the Tattoo Peter shot is killing me, the sun's going to destroy the flash in the window...bahh maybe I will start up a Flash Rescue group hehehe.

I went twenty years, then this year I've gone crazy. Seven since June, one being a full sleeve (still working on it). Next appointment - this Sunday.

I went in to get some work done by Lana but she was out on maternity leave. Next time I make it up to Houston I'm gonna have her hook me up with a traditional anchor on my calf.

I had my ribs done last weekend and yes it fucking hurt. It was a smaller piece (about 2 hours of work) and I made it through without tapping out. You are asking about pain killers to take during the tattoo session, for me the days after were worse than the tattoo itself, for about four days it felt like someone had run over my side with a bus, backed up, ran over my ribs again, and then decided to stick them in a blender. I'm finally getting back to normal, I will put off my other side as long as I can.

Here's my unplanned tattoos. It was one of those days when I felt I just had to get a tattoo, I'm assuming most people here know what I mean. I called up my artist and asked if he was available, he said come on in. When I got there he asked what I wanted, I said I want the tops of my feet done. I had no idea what I wanted so I asked if there was anything he had been wanting to do. He said as a matter of fact I do, have a seat and let me draw it up. Here's the end result. (Of course it took two sittings but I still consider them both unplanned)

Johnny, the thing is most people on here had tattoos way before the Miami Ink or LA Ink shows hit cable TV. When those shows came out every tattoo on them had a "meaning" behind it, these stories play on emotions and make for better TV. Once people outside the tattoo world started watching these shows they thought there was some deep meaning behind every tattoo and felt, since they watch the shows, they share a common corp of knowledge with us. It seems that they believe by watching Ami James tattoo 100 Koi Fish that they can speak intelligently about tattoos with us. So that's why it hits a nerve.

How about, because it's a fucking Sailor Jerry, that's why. Of course then you get who's Sailor Jerry? Or that's an eagle not a sailor. Fucking dipshit just go away and don't worry about my tattoos.
