  1. I made my last appt knowing I wanted an anchor, not sure what I wanted it to look like. Ended up game time on the design and love it! Go with your gut! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. I appreciate the feedback. It doesn't hurt and looks good otherwise. Definitely not a deterrent for me. I realize tattoos take time to heal. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. It's not very big...about 1.5 inches by 1.5 inches..I am moisturizing and elevating as much as I can as well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Hello friends...I've talked to my artist and been to see the doctor but wanted to see if any of you have experienced this... On April 5th I got an anchor tattoo right above my left inner ankle. It is healing beautifully...except for the fact that when I stand or walk the tattoo looks red around it and when I elevate my leg it looks totally normal and all the redness goes away. It is not warm to the touch, is not oozing etc. My artist had never seen anything like that and my doctor thinks that due to the location and blood flow that it's possible I have some vascular damage...she thinks it may take a month to heal...has anyone else ever heard of this? 5. Good decision to head to doctor and to the artist! Hope all the healing goes well! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  9. My ankle tattoos doing something similar, I got it on 5 April and it gets red around it when I'm standing but when I lay down and elevate it looks completely normal it's scabbing fine it's not infected it's not hot I even went to the doctor for it. I think all the standing and moving definitely is hindering the full healing process Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. I have an ankle tattoo as well, I got it about 15 days ago and it definitely has been interesting in the healing process. There has been some pain, and definitely not the easiest place with work pants Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I have two and my boyfriend doesn't have any. I just got my second a few weeks back. I didn't even think to ask him if me getting another tattoo was a problem. Purely because he doesn't have any. When we did speak about it he said of course not, I think tattoos are cool… They're just not for me. I absolutely could date somebody and see myself spending the rest of my life with somebody who does not have tattoos, as long as they don't have a problem with my continuing to get new tattoos as time goes on. 12. Face Mac hands and probably my breasts as well. I just don't feel that those spaces are the best for me Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. This is very interesting to me, as I am a high school transition coordinator and I work with many students who have tattoos and I myself have two tattoos. What I kind of think about is the type of work you're doing, and if your tattoo would hinder or prevent you from doing your work. Unfortunately there are many people out there who judge people based on how they look, which is very unfair. Many people have tattoos for a variety of different reasons. In my workplace at least I find that though it is a school there are many people that have tattoos on ankles feet wrists and it doesn't seem to be a problem. The only thing I counsel my students on is if they're planning on getting new ink think about where their getting it why they're getting it and the career path they're choosing unfortunately they may be stereotyped or view to certain way because of the tattoos they have in the career there picking so it's important to think about that a tattoo is a lifelong decision and you should never feel ashamed or feel like you have to hide it if it's something that is meaningful to you Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. I also just got my second tattoo at 35 years old, and my mother definitely was not pleased. My mother actually referred to the fact that she didn't think any of her children should get tattoos because she brought us into the world with this beautiful skin that we are defiling. I completely respect her opinion, because everyone is entitled to believe what they want. But once she said that I referred her back to my open heart surgery scars, my 2 C-sections and the first tattoo I got a decade ago. I said that all of the markings on my bossy are beautiful and have meaning. She had nothing else to say! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Hello tattoo friends! I only have two tattoos, but they're both very meaningful to me and I hope to get more in the future. I really like the idea of getting things pop my body that mean a lot to me and remind me of important people places and times in my life. I hope to use these forms to meet new people who also enjoy tattooing and to learn more about the process and the artistry of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
