I think it looks cool! Don't overthink it. We tend to get regret feelings after a tattoo sometimes because it's going to stay there forever and that is VERY scary. Just don't worry and remember why you decided to get it😄

i think it looks good and its not so big..maybe you are finding it dark?  but it will look much better in a few months once its properly settled into the skin and it will get lighter too .... i think its a great start, and incase you decide to continue it upwards, you can use some play with contrast and create a beautiful sleeve or half sleeve .... honestly id just leave it for a while , let it grow on you, before making any rushed decisions...believe me, i made rushed decisions over and ov

If you decide to get one regardless of advice, which is what I suspect will happen, at least don't get it in a place where you can't easily cover it up. When I was young I wanted to be a musician. I wound up in the pension planning industry for a long time. Talk about the most conservative, tight-ass group in the country! Any tattoos would definitely have been a deal breaker. I spent 15 years with short hair and wearing a suit and tie every day. I swore when I got out I would grow my hair down to my ass and never wear anything but jeans and a t-shirt to work again. I made half good on my promise. My hair's only half way down my back and I occasionally wear a shirt with a collar. When I go to an interview now, I wear my shirt sleeves rolled up. They might as well see my tattoos now because I'm not hiding them later.

thanks for the reply  So if the tattoo artist does decide to use a pen on the stencil if he thinks its necessary should i let him? or would it be better to try to have him reprint it to avoid having to use a pen?

Yeah, when I was seventeen I also thought I knew what I wanted.  I was wrong, of course.  Don't get any tattoos on your hands, neck or face for at least another 10-15 years - and maybe not then, either.
