Overall pretty happy with it, just wish I had picked darker colors or left it completely black and grey. Luckily this is the first and probably not the last time I will visit this image. You really captured the essence of the original painting; it's in the eyes, and you nailed it. I absolutely agree! The eyes are key - they are best when wide and panicked, not angry or sleepy. I like that you added that sunset (or sunrise?) in the background and made the light reflect off the waves and horses.
