Court
Hi all! This is my fourth tattoo and the first that is visible on my arm. Needless to say, I'm not an expert in terms of what a tattoo looks like through each stage of the healing process. The tattoo is 8 days old and over the last day or two I've noticed the more shaded areas on the right side are looking faded/milky. I know it may be too early to tell, but I was hoping to get some insight on if this looks normal for the milky phase or if the lines are starting to look blown out. I've also attached a picture of the tattoo from right after I got it as a point of reference. Thanks in advance for the advice!
Simong
It looks fine to me but you need to wait until it’s healed properly before you will know. After a month you should have a better idea but it looks normal for a healing tattoo. Edited September 4, 2022 by Simong Court
Hogrider
4-6 weeks to heal. That’s when you know what it’s going to look like. There are no shortcuts. AlH
