New To Tattoos

Hello my name is Daniel,

I just started my tattoo journey. Been involved very seriously in martial arts for 3 decades. Now 41. 
 

I do not know much about tattoos and healing. Been doing my best trying to understand things. Is my tattoo normal looking? Not so good? Good?

I just got some shading done and I see it looks brown…is this normal first?

How new are the tattoos? You can always get color filled in and touched up.

The shading, the brown, is like 4 days new. Artist said itll fade to grey.

It doesn't look like it was very solid black to begin with. Looks to me like you'll need to get a lot of it touched up.

It looks like grey wash.  It will be reddish then brownish as the blood heals then it will be grey.
