If I see a show that features an artist tattooing in a style I like, I'll check it out. Tim Hendricks is the only reason I watch NY Ink (I like Ami's japanese work, but he spends more time playing the tough guy role than tattooing on that show). If Dan Smith is tattooing on LA Ink, I might watch that episode. But I'm usually flipping between that and "Ancient Aliens" or "Occult Secrets of the Nazis", so I can skip to the finished tattoo.

I was fortunate enough to have Tim build me a custom "one off". Speaking with him on the phone was such a pleasure. He is a very down to earth person, and never leads on about the whole TV thing. He even took the time to check out some of my work and offered pointers. He is just a great guy.

Also Khoi from High Voltage is another "in the spotlight" tattooers who you would never be able to tell they've been on a major show. Absolutely no attitude whatsoever from either of these gentlemen.
