Buylist

We all like to buy shit we dont need. I figured this would be a good place to post our most recent and unnecessary purchases which have gotten us in trouble with spouses/girlfriend/boyfriends or family. Or cool shit people bought for you.

Mine is:

160 Bucks on miscellaneous items from the GORUCK web store. I cant stop myself.

AND another copy of East of Eden I had not seen before.

@hogg hows that Spider Murphy's flash book?

Duuuuuude. That shit is beyond. I think I found four pages that didn't have something I'd get tattooed on me, and I could probably be convinced to get something from each of those pages, too. It's that good.

Want that one bad!

Have you seen it? It's pricey, but so worth it. For someone like you who is running out of space (I'm not that far behind you), it's kind of hard to look at. You find yourself wanting to get so much of it.

I saw that on Instagram; my girl knows better than to buy something like that for that EXACT reason ;)

I bought a Hermes brolly a few years ago when I was in Paris celebrating my birthday.

I think it cost around €350. I have no idea why I bought it apart the fact that I was pretty wasted at the time.

Never used it and probobly never will.

Those are some classy duds. I just wish I had 125 bones for a shirt.

You can thrift shop for Pendletons in small towns-easier to find here in Texas

I bought everyone of my pendletons on ebay for like $20 each. Funny thing is most of the sellers are from here in Portland or southwest Washington. I go look at the new stuff, just can't bring myself to spend that kind of money.

Ross do they sell the book in Spider Murphys?

My wife got my copy there, but I think they were down to their last few. Hit 'em up!

    •  I woke up on my back a few times, i tried to avoid it but still managed to. I did 0 in way of aftercare, I kept the wrap on for a few hours after my tattoo then i took a shower and washed the gunk off and just left it. I took the following day of work so i could chill whilst it was a bit weapy but by the 3rd day i acted like i hadn't been tattooed. Healed fine.
    • Yes indeed ... how it heals up will be the true measure of how well I've done.

The outline had me wishing it was over already when I was only halfway through, so I was expecting the coloring to be hell ... but it was less painful.  :)  Either way, admittedly not the most pleasant place to get a tattoo! lol

Focusing on doing good work probably helps alot ...
    • As always, listen to your tattooer. But realistically a tattoo heals best with the less irritation and less sh*t that gets put on it. Re-wrapping at all is generally a no-no, especially no to the towel. As far as sleeping on it, the worst that happens is that you get stuck and have to take your sheet the next day into the shower with you. Maybe if you have a tendency to flip onto your back, propping some pillows around you to keep you from turning might work. Tattoos are pretty in-there from the get go so I wouldn't be too concerned.
