I think Japanese yakuza movies from the 60's/70's have some of the best movie tattoos. They also prove that tattoos other than tribal can still be very legible on screen. I think it's safe to say that watching these movies as a kid is the very reason why I have an interest in tattoos today.

Here's a trailer from a movie called "Tales of Chivalrous Women: The Chivalrous Geisha". 0:32 and 3:02.

Takakura Ken is a badass!

OK, not a movie but a TV series, "Blindspot". I haven't watched it but might later if it isn't just another cop show.

Anyone here like/dislike it?

I've been watching it and like it,kinda cool cop show,

the only thing I don't like is her tattoos are not done very well IMO,

they look more like stencil color to me,and they are not exactly the same in every scene & show, the ones on her neck show a lot,I know it's probably difficult to get them the same every show, but the color is off to me,the color doesn't look real IMO
