I've decided I want a la-la-lady head from Nikki Lugo at Tattoo Paradise. I feel like my arms are too puny to put one there, though that's kind of where I want it. Lady heads are one thing I would consider getting in color because they look so awesome in color, but I think I'll keep sticking with all black & gray for now. Nikki has done some pretty black & gray ones -- I really like this one:

You'd be a smart lady to do so. She's great. I also am a big fan of Vinse One!

!! Yeah, the artist I've been going to at TP (Scott M) just moved to Florida, so I'm looking around for a new local person I like. I always hear good things about Nikki (inside and outside TP) and I like her portfolio a lot!

I've been really into the lady heads that Herb Auerbach has been doing lately. I know some people already mentioned Stefan Johnsson, and they definitely have a similar style with really heavy blacks, golds, and reds. These are pulled from his Instagram (@herbxauerbach).

PS. These are the first pics I've tried to attach to a reply, so hopefully they show up ok. Sorry if they didn't.

If I come to CA, I may never leave. Haha. I made the bad mistake of discovering LST at the same time as buying a house. Stupid money.

Haha! Houses are great things to have, definitely more practical than tattoos :) No reason you can't do both, eh?

Oh of course. :) Just have to restock on the savings front a bit after my downpayment and then a semi-big Grez piece in the fall.

Edit: And to bring it back to topic just a little bit, I'm definitely thinking about a Noble lady head at some point when I have the cash! I love his.

be gentle.. first post. I got this a few days ago and I am having a hard time trying to decide what I should put around it/finish off the rest of the forearm with. Going for a traditional smaller pieces. Do you think the head is too big?

Looks great! I think you can still get that look you're aiming for. Lots of room still left.

I've always been fond of Kim Graziano's girl heads/faces (@bunnymachine - IG). Also Daryl Rodriguez was busting out some really pretty girls a couple years ago, too (@daryl_rodriguez - IG)

    • Keep looking and next time book mark it. 😉
    • Small detailed tattoos on thin delicate skin are the most prone to blowouts. I don’t think there is anything you can do to cause or prevent them.
    • Hello everyone! on Friday I got my first tattoo, a small dagger, like 5cm on the back of my hand. I think this was the absolute right decision, but I am a bit afraid of the aftercare, because there are some Details, which I would like to preserve. As this is my first tattoo and there are three questions which I couldn’t find answers on: No.1 I am currently living in Athens and the tap water is relatively heavy chlorinated, which makes me unsure about showering and washing, should that be any problem? No.2 During the days the sun is always shining. In the last few days I’ve hid in my flat to let the tattoo heal but tomorrow I have to get to work, would it be an idea to use a band aid to cover the tattoo from the sun? No.3 The possibly most shitty thing with this small detailed tattoo would be blowouts, how do they happen? Until now everything looks just fine, but I am a bit scarred to F*** everything up if I stretch my hands to strong or move them in a wrong way. I am completly paranoid about everything right now, but I think that’s kind of normal.   Thanks for the help and best regards! Anton
