ShawnPorter
Don Pugsley - IMDb Thats a fella named Don Pugsley. He was in the Rocketeer. One of the few heavily tattooed actors back in the day that wasn't always showing their tattoos, playing bikers or convicts... hogg
Hands On
stumbled across this little gem... Ed Hardy roast. Scott Harrison kills it. SStu, abees and Iwar
Avery Taylor
@Hands On Thanks for posting this I had no idea that there was a video of it. Scott Harrison is the smartest and funniest person I have met in tattooing. Dan Gilsdorf runs a very close second. I don't know for sure, but I have heard that Ed was pretty upset with Scott after the roast. hogg

suburbanxcore
Grez was telling me about that last weekend and was saying it was very close to being announced. It's going to be awesome.
suburbanxcore
So, in looking ahead at the calendar, I realized my May app at KA was while Grez will be at Blue Arms in Norway, so I had to reschedule. I was lucky enough to reschedule it for the weekend of the Ed Hardy show, so now I'll definitely be up for that. Stoked. tatB
Kings Ave put tickets for his speaking events up on their website today. Not sure if they're sold out or not, but worth looking into. I'm passing on the lectures but am thinking about making the trip to check out the art show part of the weekend and maybe get a walk-in from some hardy flash. still waiting to hear more details on that though. suburbanxcore
Yeah, I don't think I'm doing the lectures either for a few reasons, but I'm getting tattooed that Saturday at 12:30 with Grez anyway. I'll definitely be checking out the art stuff and book signings or whatever. tatB

Marwin3000
Guys, I'm looking at different Ed Hardy books but I have no idea wich are any good. I could need some pointers!
abees
@Marwin3000 Tattooing The Invisible Man is my favourite, but the most expensive. It focuses on his life and works - 1955-99. Beyond Skin is about paintings, drawings, prints, flash, etc. And Wear Your Dreams is his memoir. All definitely worth getting. Iwar
@Marwin3000 I bought Tattooing the Invisible Man last year, and it's mindblowing to say the least. Well worth the 8-900 kroner it will cost you to get it shipped to Norway. Books are exempt from import taxes too, but you probably knew that already.
