Hi all! My name is Inna and I am new here (obviously!) I am also relatively new to the world of tattoos, it's been happening all around me for years, but only relatively recently have I realised I can be an involved and contributing member to this society, so hello and I look forward to being a part of this!

Welcome Inna. I like that head dress painting. Did you paint that? Any tattoos?

Thank you! :D I have drawn it with a sharpie (0.5) and colour pencils (Faber Castell brand)... Do I have any tattoos? No, not yet, but I am looking to get some this year! :D

Sorry I thought it was watercolor for some reason. I'm not an artist at all so I'm pretty ignorant when it comes to that. That's pretty awesome though. Have fun starting your tattoo collection.

Thanks :D

If you want to be involved with this community you need to start by getting tattoos. Drawing what you perceive to be traditional tattoo designs without actually having tattoos is silly.

Wow... everyone has to start somewhere, I love tattoo art and my drawing is based on studying work of the classic traditional tattoo artists and getting feedback from the tattoo artists who tattoo traditional today. Its not like I have bought a tattoo machine online and started scratching in my kitchen... Its like saying its silly to study architecture because you haven't built any buildings...

Welcome, hope you enjoy it here! Tons of great info, videos, pictures, and stories about tattooing. Do you have any ideas about what you want your first to be?

Thanks :) I hope so too!

Yup, I'm pretty certain I have decided! I want a semi-realistic dream catcher on my shoulder blade... I was thinking about 10cm in diameter for the main bit and then the dangly feathery bit across my back... like its being blown in the wind... but not sure whether that will work... will have to speak with an artist and see what they think. The positioning I saw for these are mainly either ribs or middle of the shoulder blades... I don't think I can hack ribs for my first tattoo and I prefer asymmetry, but have to wait and see!
