KegRN
Ok, this tattoo may have been done well but man, when I saw this on pinterest the first thing I thought was, "does that chick have a furry back?" The white ink just doesn't seem to work here.
SStu
I'd be curious to see it in better light. deadsp0t

Mick Weder
Yeah, the light on that's piss poor. Is it even white? Or is it scarification or that glow shit people get in to.
tay943
I've heard that white ink can discolour or fade out in as little as a year, is this true? As far as I know white ink works best when used to highlight than as a solid colour. Kind of a shame to put that much effort, time and money into something that even fresh looks 'furry'. Dog Bite
Yikes. I don't get why people do any kind of colour, especially white, without a nice outline.
Fala
Glow ink = cancer! (I don't know, I'm repeating something that I heard along the way...) I have white ink that's more than 2 years old, and it hasn't faded or discolored. The color started off a little weird, then turned to as bright a white as you can get showing through skin. I also have white ink that was mixed with another color so it is more of a creamy color - it's 7 months old and looks awesome. Even so, they are more highlight "extras" than the bulk of the tattoo. Not a super long time, but long enough to bunk the within a year myth.

Fala
Yeah, I think two spots on one tattoo are 1/2" square, and the other tattoo has more square inch-age but are flower highlights and the breast of a bird. I was going to get a tattoo a few months ago, but had to cancel, and that was going to be heavy on the white.

CollinK
White will generally turn yellow-ish on me within a year to two years. Everyone is different.

sourpussoctopus
White will generally turn yellow-ish on me within a year to two years. Everyone is different. Same here - white ink turns yellowish on me almost as soon as it heals. It never holds. Which is why I just don't get all-white tattoos at all. Like, that girl's back could've looked great with black and grey piece (though I personally don't like the angel wing thing).
deniseb27
Ok maybe the idea behind it is somewhat neat, but I, too, see a furry back! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
