Zillah
Hello, I'm a Registered Nurse working in an acute psychiatric inpatient setting and love tattoos. I have 3 myself, working on adding another couple in the next month. I joined this forum due to an awesome thread I read on here where everyone was (shock horror!) respectful and mature. It made my day. Had to join after that! Thanks, Stacey from New Zealand Mark Bee and Johannes 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/4954-hi-from-nz/ Share on other sites

I was scheduled to have Restraint and seclusion training next month but it conflicted with my graduation. They are trying really hard to not only minimise but to eliminate using seclusion all together in our DHB, it's a sticky issue. Lots of nurses are scared they will get hurt if they throw seclusion out... but then again lots of nurses use seclusion inappropriately because they are afraid.
