Hi! My name is Felix from Memphis.

I just received my first color tattoo of 2 koi on my left upper arm. Since then I have seen a black and gray tattoo of 2 koi and really love it too. Im thinking about getting it on my other arm. Would that be considered silly to have bookend koi arms- one in color and its black and gray brother on the other arm?

Thanks! I think it would be awesome to have a color koi arm and a b & g koi arm. My last name is Pesce ( fish in Italian) and I am a Pisces. So The fish theme is very important to me but I just wanted a little validation for my idea from folks like you that knows more about the art of tattooing which I am still learning. I love your profile pic tattoo btw. Its badass

    • Here's a decent photo of it. Nearly healed now. 🙂  This was a gift from my tattoo artist ... he's moving three hours away. Boooooo. But I'm happy for him. It's a great new studio, and he'll be closer to his family.
    • yep. 4-6 weeks before you really know what you've got.  post a link to the person who you're looking at for re-working it.
    • I'd wait until it's healed so you actually know what it's going to look like before I start looking at having it "fixed." How exactly is the other artist going to "fix" it? I've seen more tattoos that look worse after they are fixed than better.
