Congratulations Deb! Hope to hear it in 18 more years on yer 50th.

Dues you've paid are dues well noted and unknown to those with few years of experience as the whole meal has been a long strange trip.

Hope you and Don are livin the dream for many more years to come.

Thank you all

My first tattoo was a name ( I wish I could I remember which ) on an older man's hand.

And today I did a portrait of a girl made up for dia de Los muerte

Congrats Deb! care to share pics of the new girl?

Cheers.

I know your work. In fact, I was recently in Alaska, as part of a hitchiking trip through the Yukon, passed by Anchorage Tattoo Studio, and thought about going in and checking it out, but the place was closed.

Too bad it was closed-- but did you get to see the giant tattoo machine?

We are down the road north about 15 miles in Eagle River. We were at Anchorage Tattoo for 8 years prior-- great experience.

Thanks for the kind words Nick ---we feel the same about you.

Ms Rad, thanks i'll try to post a pic (:

I went to eagle river!

More like passed through. Got a 40oz from the grocery store and kept moving north. And, yeah, for sure saw the giant tat machine on the roof. Does it light up?

Congratulations on a truly remarkable achievement, Deb. Even more remarkable: that after 32 years in the biz, people only have great things to say about you.

Wow A long stretch of doing what you love to do! That's great. So many people do things for a living that they hate doing and end up hating everything because of it and have such a miserable time. and don't get to enjoy life.

    • I have 12 tattoos and my last few have healed so badly that I am reluctant to get anymore done. I stick to the healing routine everytime using mild anti bacterial wash 2/3 times a day, make sure it is dry before I add a pure moisturiser. I used to use bepanthan but no matter how well I air dried it, it still gunks up. I then tried just coconut oil which is better but im still not healing well. My last 5 tattoos have been colour and I'm wondering if this may be the issue. So desperate to find a reason for it as I absolutely love my tattoos and have so many more I have spent a lot of time designing that I want done. Maybe I am destined to only get black fine line ones.
    • I got this tattoo back in November. I had it touched up in mid-December from the same artist and it still looks like this. You can see on the “N” that it almost looks like my skin is coming through the ink on the right side. Is it time to get it touched up for a third time but by a different artist? The missed ink is very noticeable. Thanks for your help!
    • Yep. Where do you live?  Maybe we can steer you to a couple of quality options . . .
