The first thing that came to mind when I saw this thread was the Def Leppard song. I was sooo stoked ahahaha. Damn my rotton brain.

Eddy Deutsche finished mine a few weeks ago.

Terrible pic of the whole thing and one of the mini ROA in the book at the bottom.

Four total in the piece ;)

Fucking insane, man! Lucky you, not just for the backpiece, but for the time spent with Eddy. He's such a cool guy.

Strange that I never posted mine to this thread; I must have thought I already had(?)

According to Steve Byrne, I was the first person to ask him for a RoA (in 2011 if you can believe that), so I guess that's my claim to fame:

I'm not sure if this was mentioned in this tread somewhere but I've been wondering what this image is from? Is there an original somewhere? Same with the pharoah's horses. Where is that image from?

My two favorite images!

Pharaoh's Horses was originally a painting/print that someone decided would look cool as a tattoo. Unless it was the other way around. Here's a link to a fairly extensive history.

I first heard of 'Rock of Ages' as a Christian hymn (written in 1763, according to Wikipedia) growing up. I'm sure the image evolved from that somehow. I would someday love to own a copy of Ed Hardy's book on the subject.
