tattooing tips

hi.. Im new to this site, so please correct me if I post incorrectly,but I would really appreciate everyones tips in tattooing. I do tattooing as a passion while I officially work as a technical support representative here in the Philippines, been doing some native asian tattoos. hope anyone there can give me tips on what would be the best volt for lining, and for shading. thanks
