Hi! New to forum and new tattoo that is healing slow.

Recommended Posts

Hi, I'm new here, have a few tattoos, I like them all (now). I had a bad one fixed not too long ago. I have a new one and the healing process is pretty gnarly. It just hurts a lot, some of the outline is pink, but not spreading. I have a little issue with healing with the last 2 tattoos. We all know they're somewhat addicting.

This is the tattoo that I had fixed.

I used to heal very slowly. My first tattoos were a catastrophe and piercings weren't healing much better. Some cartilage piercings took two years (!!!) to heal...

Whereas the past years piercings have been healing lightning fast, as do tattoos (though my recent tattoos were small....but on my hands so I guess that is tricky).

The face looks much better on your tattoo now and the new colors are great.

I've experienced a horrible heal complete with the infection thing and everything. Most of my recent ones have healed fine and quickly. How long ago did you get it, and can you post a picture of it healing so we can tell if there's any serious issue?

    • I went to the original post and pointed out the misspelling. They took the post down and said they were warning me not to reshare it. Yikes. Hope you can get the misspelling fixed somehow, OP. Oh, lord. Now the poor tattoo artist is threatening me with a lawyer. Even though I used her original caption and tagged her in it. 🤣
    • Is that word supposed to be whisper? I hope I am just reading it incorrectly ... 😬
    • No you can't "fix" it and it didn't move. It's ink under your skin, it doesn't move. Calm down and think! Don't tell everyone you know how much it sucks because no one will notice except you anyway. It's not on a piece of paper! Your skin moves and as your skin moves, the ink embedded in your skin will move. That's a nice tattoo. If I was a Tattooer and someone gave me grief about that I'd tell them to take their business elsewhere.
