threecheersfortattoos
Hello! I just recently joined because i need help with my sleeve. I currently have two roses on my upper arm and i just got three roses on my forearm. There are a few blank areas and im not sure what to put. My roses are pretty traditional and they are not coloured. I originally wanted just a full rose sleeve but with the position of these tattoos i think adding more roses would be too messy and look crowded. I have blank space on the back of my upper arm and a small spot between the middle of my arm. Any ideas of what i should do?:) Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/6589-new-member-in-need-of-help/ Share on other sites
TrixieFaux
Think of other images you like and consult with a stellar tattoo artist. Do you have any photos to post of your arm? Graeme
Nice roses. Who is the artist? I would suggest a snake because it would fill the spaces nicely, flow great on your arm, give a nice contrast to the roses with scales and/and patterns, and snakes and roses go fantastic together. polliwog and JAllen 2 Quote Link to comment https://www.lastsparrowtattoo.com/forum/t/6589-new-member-in-need-of-help/#findComment-120425 Share on other sites
TrixieFaux
That looks pretty! I think there are tons of things that could work in the open spaces, you just need to work it out with your artist. I have black and gray roses, too, on my right arm...along with a bunch of other stuff that my artist and I thought would look cool. thatsnashd
You have more than enough room to put some more bad ass designs. I would say to ask someone who's work you really respect what they would enjoy filling the space with, and then reach a compromise. You just have to understand what you can get will be dictated by what you already have. So go into it with an open mind.
