@CultExciter Dude, Dave's tattoos rip. I am so into the cat ladies and as someone who doesn't really like purple in tattoos, nobody makes me enjoy purple more than Dave Regan.

And there is something really magical about Gordon's tattoos. Having got to work with him briefly earlier in the year I can definitely say that the dude is naturally gifted and draws pretty effortlessly.

@el twe UGGHGHHHGH SEE?!?

This O'Donnell back piece is still mind blowing in my eyes

That's on Travis who used to work at KA, and at Ed Hardy weekend, him, Chuck, Frankie, and one guy who is a regular client/friend there took a pic with their backs from O'Donnell, Boltz, Roper, and Rubendall, respectively. The pic is floating around out on the internet, and it's insane.

Female warrior by Chris O'Donnell: Female warrior for Nicole

Punk Virgin Mary by Valerie Vargas: Professional Tattoo Blog | Kings Avenue Tattoo in NYC | valerie vargas

This backpiece by Thomas Hooper: https://thomashooper.files.wordpress.com/2012/09/made-by-thomas-hooper-texas-2012_62.jpg

@suburbanxcore Travis is no longer at KA? I haven't been by since last year. What happened?

He lives up in Westchester and was sort of working up there at a different shop as well I believe. I think that's what he's doing all the time now. He was in the KA booth at Pagoda City and we chatted a bit, but he said that was really just to help out for the weekend.

For me when i was first getting into this industry it was Dave Fox who always made me drool, everything he did just had this perfect layer of TOUGH over it, with just the right amount of exagerration

I love his work but I unfortunately haven't seen many large scale pieces by him. A bunch of paintings, couple sleeves and lots of one off but nothing like that back piece, holy hell. I'm so bummed he left Philly and went to CA I want another tattoo by him.

A while ago I was digging through Craig Brown's (of Historic Tattoo, Portland) instagram as I want to get something done with him hopefully soon, and stumbled upon this: https://instagram.com/p/SlJ1ZtBs7R/?taken-by=craigbrowntattoo The colors are massive and gorgeous.

Another jaw-dropper, also from Historic, is this big ass wolf from Tyson Arndt: https://instagram.com/p/6k4hPTR5Bc/?taken-by=tysonarndt

He's moving back and will be starting at Studio One in Norwood soon.
