Embracethepotato
Hi everyone, I'm in need of advice regarding a potential cover up. I got a tattoo on my wrist 5/6 years ago and I don't like it at all so I was wanting to get it covered - I just need advice on what my options are (if any). It was a rushed decision to start with (I was young!) but now all I see on my wrist is a dark, smudgy blob! I originally wanted a rose, but the tattoo artist told me to choose a different flower out of his book - I know I should have walked out right then. Would a rose still be possible? I am also wanting a tattoo on my opposite forearm, but with this on my wrist I don't feel like anything will 'go' with this at the moment as it's just not feminine to me. Any advice greatly appreciated! Thanks
SStu
can it be covered? = yes. will you be happy with the results? = depends on the artist. where do you live?
Lochli
Keep in mind, for a cover up, the piece would have to be a decent size larger to hide that. IMO, being that its that close to the wrist, and knowing what I know now, I would spend the money on a quality laser session or two to open up the choices you would have, cover up wise. Not saying complete removal, just something to lighten it up.
Embracethepotato
Thanks for the advice - I thought I might struggle with the placement and the darkness of it. At least I know I have some options out there and won't be stuck with it for the rest of my life! Thanks
