Graeme 2,588 Posted December 29, 2015 If you can keep up on new music you aren't getting tattooed enough. I think the only 2015 release I bought and listened to this year was Monolord's Vaenir which is solid. NihilNovum and joakim urma

suburbanxcore 889 Posted December 31, 2015 The Action Bronson record has killer moments, but falls flat as a whole album for me. I need to check out Turnover and the new Torche and Deafheaven records that people mentioned. A friend of mine has been raaaaaving about Turnover, and I always like Torche but never fully invest. They blew me away live in a house a few years back. The previous Deafheaven record took me by surprise, so who knows? In some particular order: Touche Amore and Self Defense Family (collab record) - Self Love Blacklisted - When People Grow, People Go The Wonder Years - No Closer to Heaven Desaparecidos - Payola Beach Slang - The Things We Do to Find People Who Feel Like Us Pet Symmetry - Pets Hounds Dr. Dre - Compton mewithoutYou - Pale Horses Kyle Kinane - I Liked His Old Stuff Better CultExciter

suburbanxcore 889 Posted January 4, 2016 I forgot about that new Drug Church. The last EP was my favorite thing by them since the demo, so I think I'd be into it.
sourpussoctopus 170 Posted January 5, 2016 No love for Vulnicura by Bjork? That was her best since the Homogenic/Vespertine days.
Synesthesia 847 Posted January 8, 2016 I haven't really given this much thought, but I know for sure my favorite album of the year is Megiddo's "The Holocaust Messiah." I also really liked the new Mgla, Hate Eternal, Gnaw Their Tongues (and the collab with Dragged Into Sunlight), and Leviathan full lengths...as far as EPs, I liked Cosmic Church's new one and the new Vorum. My vote for "most fun" album would probably be Visigoth's "The Revenant King." (Why yes, I do listen to metal almost exclusively)
suburbanxcore 889 Posted January 19, 2016 @CultExciter - finally downloaded the Drug Church lp this weekend. It's awesome. I like it way more than Paul Walker. CultExciter
suburbanxcore 889 Posted February 3, 2016 This Julien Baker record, Sprained Ankle, is absolutely murdering me lately. If I'd heard it earlier it would've definitely made my list.
