Just booked my room for the weekend. I didn't get an apt with Valerie (you lucky dog) but working on getting Hendrick's confirmed. I'll be starting on a collaborative piece with Grez/Rubendall/Henning that weekend!

Is Henning going to be there? Or just starting the Grez and Rube parts at Pagoda and Henning will jump in later?

Oh, snap. You're right...if you want to have fun at the beach, the timing isn't right. I just passed on the Lost Highway Festival since I can't afford to do both the festival and Pagoda. Damn it! The lineup at Lost Highway is killing me. I really wanted to go but you know it's s function of time and $$!

I'm thinking about hitting this up, depending on my cash flow for the next few months.

It would be my first time going to Pagoda.  Hoping that some would take a walk-up but not holding my breath as I'm pretty sure everyone is probably booked.

Hope to meet some of you. :1_grinning:

Dan Smith cancelled going to Pagoda. Crapity, crap, crap, crap. Now, I'm at the utter mercy of someone cancelling on another awesome artist for a Sunday appointment.

That is disappointing. I hope something good comes your way.

Thanks @Mark Bee and @Devious6!  I have emails out to a few folks. I doubt I'll get in with someone that I want but it never hurts to ask, right? I'm there for the entire duration since I'm in Philly the week before and have to be in Virginia the following Monday. Light a candle for me.

    • I'm busy healing my new little addition, I got it on my arm and between the easy spot and the tebori the experience was the easiest to date.  I got a Daruma doll which was one of the two things I originally set out to get anyways, I have some rock climbing goals to reach and if I do I'll get the eye blacked in during the Jacksonville Imperial Arts fest.  Pics in a few days once the eye calms down.
    • Agree with @Oiocha.  Let it heal and then see where you're at with it. I don't think moving your wrist is going to make it any worse. I recently started working on my first larger scale tattoo and I've definitely been down the over-analyze, stare at it all night path with it. It can drive you crazy especially if you're prone to being a perfectionist. Accepting imperfections is part of the process as I'm slowly learning. As a wise man once said in another thread, "my tattoos are as perfect as I am".  Credit for that goes to @JAC1961
