Is it possible to repair or have to cover it up?

Hello,

A noob friend of mine made this tattoo - penrose triangle https://imgur.com/a/6Ekit -, but it ended up with some imperfections, and I don't really want a tattoo in this state.

I asked a tattoo artist and he said that I should cover it up, but I want more opinons. What do you guys think? Is possible to repair like with another color as outline?

Thanks.

I am not a tattooist - but this topic has been discussed on the forum in the past - but for your guidance there are a couple of (or a few?) tattooists who are experimenting with putting white *on top* of black - so if you were nearby to one of them they would 1st need to put MORE black into your space. The other aspect of white ink is that with some people it doesn't stay white - it turns yellow or light brown. No way to predict that.

yeah basically you will need something blackAF and bigAF if you are expecting to cover the triangle mess completely.

I don't see a minor touchup correcting the roughness of your triangle tattoo.

other options are live with it or laser.

or black out that section of your arm and fade into your abstract / optical illusion idea

I'd either:

A. keep the tattoo and have it as a reminder of that time in your life and hopefully your buddy becomes an awesome artist, and you'll always be there to humble him.

B. Go full blackout on that area, and do a scarification method where you want a different color. Depending on how your skin scars, it would range from reddish to skin tone. there are some awesome scarification artists out there.

I had a great idea! I'll make it all black triangle, then make the penrose triangle on the other side, and then add more 2 triangles inverted on each side aroudn the arm.

Sierpinski triangle - it's a triangle supposedly that has 1,3 spatial dimentions

And the middle one here - which is a 4 dimensional tetrahedron :D
