equate7
Hello, My name is Tommy. Born and raised in Seattle. "Go Hawks". I have a scar from open heart surgery (center of my chest vertical 9"inches) as a teenager. I decided to get a tattoo, turning my scar of pain and trauma to art and mental self healing. I never thought much about tattoos until I read an article of women getting tattoos to cover a mastectomy. I didn't realize how a tattoo can help to reclaim one's body. Scar is about 15 years old. I"m going to see an artist next month. I have designs in mind, but I don't know how incorporated it to the scar I thinking of Thai art or bioMech, but open to anything that is best for the scar. *we know you ain't from Seattle when you have an umbrella :)
SStu
Welcome, and great! for the longest lasting appreciation, take your time and learn as much as you can from this forum about the different styles of tattoo art. next find the artist who nails this style. Unless you've got some super keloid scarring you should be able to cover with any style.
