Lots of great artists will be there. Here's a nearly complete list. You should come if you can! I'll be there all weekend, getting tattooed and helping out Jennifer Stell in any way I can. Would love to meet some of you.

Sounds cool! I used to live about 4 blocks from where Richard Stell's place is. His name sounds familiar, but I doubt he was tattooing 33 years ago when I was there.

Maybe he used to watch the hard core and punk bands (N.O.T.A., Husker Du) play at the original Crystal Pistol?

I haven't been to Tulsa since the 80s when I was assigned to Fort Sill in Lawton. My birthday is tomorrow - would love to be there to get some birthday ink! Although my first one from a month ago was my birthday present from Lynn.

@SStu, NOTHING! All the artists I wanted to get tattooed by were far too busy, and Richard didn't feel like tattooing at the convention. I have to drive back over in a few days/couple of weeks, and he'll tattoo me then. I saw him right before he left, and he was game—he just didn't want to do it there.

That said, I was way too busy to take the time to get tattooed. We had lines of people waiting to fill out their health department paperwork to get tattooed at times. So it worked out OK.

    • yep. 4-6 weeks before you really know what you've got.  post a link to the person who you're looking at for re-working it.
    • I'd wait until it's healed so you actually know what it's going to look like before I start looking at having it "fixed." How exactly is the other artist going to "fix" it? I've seen more tattoos that look worse after they are fixed than better.
    • Hello everyone. So I got this rose tattoo two weeks ago. Still healing and I know I want to get it “fixed”. My issue with it is that while it looks like a rose you have to look hard to see it’s a rose. I have an appt. scheduled for April to have it worked on by a different artist (he did a pocket watch on my ribs last year that came out great). In meeting with him he said it lacks symmetry (which it does) among some other things, but he feels he can work on this. Looking for any advice. Is this fixable or is it a lost cause? If it’s not fixable then it is what it is, but Tully hoping for some input. Needless to say, I’ve been so bummed since I got because it didn’t come out how I would’ve liked. Thank you.
