Congratulations to all involved

It  looks great - and a smooth transition. I too am trying to find my way around the new layout - trying to find my uploaded pictures and where to change signature, profile pic, etc. Another challenge!!!

Thanks for the positive comments everyone.

You can find your gallery by going to your profile and click the grey button at the top right called 'my activity' > then you'll see a list of your stuff on the left side..

Thanks for the heads up on the profile coding issues - I'll look into that.

Cheers

Double posts are a thing. I know I only hit Submit Reply once (on another thread), and it posted it twice, once with the attached photo and once without.

Also, I occasionally get a weird message saying you can only like ten items a day?

I love the new site, particularly the "mobile" version.  What, exactly, is "community reputation" though?  It seems hilariously unrelated to anything yet...but I'm glad we're all "excellent!"

Thanks for asking. Its just the number of likes your posts have received - I've renamed it as such.

    • That’s interesting. Yeah, I am interested in the nano level as well.
    • Hello there  - I've been doing a bit of reading around the latest research on how tattoos are maintained  - specifically the action of macrophage pigment take up - and how over time the macrophages essentially drop the pigment and there is then a re-uptake by replacement macrophages.  Macrophages are involved in various stuff around immune response and (although I haven't found any direct research on this) I would be interested to find out how many people have "allergic" reactions months or years after initial tattoo. It is possible that an individual's immune response changes over time - and at the time of macrophage re-take up (months or years after the initial tattoo) there is a difference in response (however this is just guesswork on my part at this point).  Would be great to see more research on this - but I can't find any directly related to tattoos. Ive probably pasted this before - but here it is again - https://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/2018/03/180306101708.htm
    • I’ve had the same artist complete all four of my tattoos. All are fairly large works. I love her work and it suits me perfectly. The most recent piece was done last week. We collaborated on a design and I approved the final piece. When I got home from the session, however, I noticed that an element of the design was missing – a perfectly innocent mistake, and something that could just be added at another session. I emailed the artist to tell her this and offered to pay for another session. I’ve gotten the silent treatment (no response) and cannot escape the feeling that I’ve somehow upset or offended her. My email to her had no criticism or accusation of any kind – I missed something in the original design and she missed it when doing the tattoo. I’ll happily pay to have it remedied but now she’s not responding. Did I trip up here? Should I have approached it another way? Is there a protocol for asking an artist to make some changes/additions to her own work? Like I said, I’ve worked with her many times before, paid promptly, tipped generously, recommended her to others – I’m a good client. But it feels like I messed up somehow. I want to make it right. Suggestions?
