I have a tattoo of a rose clock and dove, i am not happy with the clock because i feel like the 12 is to low down (rotated too much) if that makes sense. SStu Posted February 4, 2017 Share Posted February 4, 2017 The clock is the boldest part of that work. If you cover it the middle of the tattoo is going to be 10 times darker than the rose and dove. Synesthesia Posted February 4, 2017 Share Posted February 4, 2017 I think your artist made a smart composition choice: the rose looks good on your shoulder and the dove looks good where it is, but that would mean the time on the clock was being covered by the rose (and I assume you requested a specific time, most people do).
