Ankle tattoo under uniform

Recommended Posts

Hey everyone, I got an ankle tattoo yesterday, tomorrow I go back to work and my uniform consists of skinnyjeans and boots. Should I wrap it to avoid the friction of the jeans fabric damaging my tattoo?

I know, I asked for a solution to that problem.

well, yes, wrapping it will help, put on something like Aquafor or cocoa butter under saran.

next time ,something like these dermal films below will solve that problem if you buy it before,I get mine online,

unless you can find it locally.

like Saniderm or tegaderm , you should be able to find Tegaderm at walgreens, target,or CVS

these products are great stuff for healing tattoos IMO,I have used them for a few years now with great success.

you leave it on a tattoo for a few days, you can shower and sleep with it on and no hassle.

here is some reading here on it.

I just ordered some saniderm. It looks like it fits pretty securely. Better than I was thinking it would. Are the edges sticky or does it just adhere to itself or???

it's self adhesive, there is a peel off layer and trust me,it sticks really well, and I already had referenced a thread here at LST in my previous post in this thread,

    • it looks fine, let it heal for 4 to 6 weeks ,remember when you are breathing, moving, trying to get a pic, it's going to look off, crooked, whatever, it's on a human F***ing body ! relax, like I said, it looks great. it looks fuckin straight to me.
    • Hello  So 3 days ago i got done my tattoo. All seemed fine till today. I removed the tattoo protection sticker and i noticed its uneven! In my opinion its not written in one straight line. What annoys me the most is the last word ‚heart‘. Its so off the line and now i dont know what to do! Can i fix that or will it go back into line when healed? Please help me out.. https://share.icloud.com/photos/0DPNH-Sr9T7knIxZQWeSrMx-A
    • It happens every time I remove tape or saniderm post-tattoo. It'll go away.
