  1. Past hour
  2. Behind it with white? What the what?
  3. Today
  4. um... I don't know about the white but man I wouldn't add to it.
  5. The artist that did this told me that the plan was to go behind this with white and put color around it. Will this work?
  6. I personally consider both ideas as exceptionally fascinating. Horses are incredibly beautiful creatures known for their agility and speed. According to American natives, besides strength, a horse themed tattoo could also be utilised for effectually representing a person’s connection to spirituality. On the other hand, clock allows us to realise the significance of time, which governs our entire existence. You can surely etch two of them, and rejuvenate your outer appearance largely.
  7. To gently reinforce...be patient. Laser is going to take several treatments spaced 2 months apart to even potentially get it light enough for any cover up.
  8. You can't cover over that big black tattoo with a water color tattoo. As @SStu suggests, start some laser treatments. This isn't going to be fast or cheap to fix. DON'T hurry, find someone really good at coverups and be prepared to spend some serious money. If you don't, you'll make an even bigger mess. That is a big honking black tattoo on some really delicate skin in a really public spot, so it's going to take someone really good to do something with it. Good aint cheap and cheap aint good.
  9. Just my opinion, but two weeks in I'd leave it totally alone. It takes 4-6 weeks to heal and there is NOTHING you can do until then so I'd just relax and wait to see what it looks like when it's healed.
  10. Yesterday
  11. Quit putting anything on it. Just let it heal dry.
  12. Did you get that done in a reputable shop?

    Small blowouts

Just let it heal. Quit staring at it.

    Blowout?

You cannot tell yet.. Wait. And touchups aren't going to fix a blowout. You just have to live with it. Just let it heal and stop obsessing.

    Blowout?

Ask again after 6 weeks have passed. You’re way overthinking this.

    Blowout?

Update: It's starting to scab and the lines seem to be getting thicker. It looks like the ink is spreading under the skin, is this part of the healing process? (Sorry for the inconvenience) If it is a blowout I know I can't do anything about it, all I can do is touch it up after its healed. I really love it as it is but I can't help but notice the cloudiness of the tattoo. Thank you.
  17. 4-6 weeks to know what you've got. let it settle.
  18. Tattoos take 4-6 weeks to heal. You won't know what it's going to look like until then.
  19. several laser treatments will get it back to where you can fix it. Once that's done, stop going to the cheapest alternative.
  20. It's actually starting to look nicer now that it's not so scabby and peeling! I was really stressing out there for a moment haha. Definitely because it's my first tattoo.
  21. Its looking really good! Theres a good balance of lights and darks (good contrast). I think you you're just not used to it but once finished you'll start to be able to.
  22. It looks nice and will probably look better the older it gets!
  23. Hi everyone! I’m new here! I’ve had this flower tattoo for exactly a week. I am concerned about it’s appearance (dark and cloudy in the petals). This is probably the most posted concern/subject - I know it’s not fully healed yet but I think I have a blow out. I am am also wondering if my skin blowouts out naturally. Unfortunately my first tattoo (ankh, 2 years old) has a blowout also. Does the flower look normal ? Do you all have any ideas for an add on?
  24. Last week
  25. @bluebullets If it helps, the quality of the ink today is better than 20 years ago (so I hear). So todays ink should last better, and safer as we use synthetic azo dyes instead of metals to make color. Of course you need to take care of your ink as well. You said you already have tattoos, but is more concerned about ageing for sleeves. From what I have seen, I think sleeves age really nicely!! Sorry....I dont have a 20 year tattoo but i just wanted to say I went for a sleeve over individual tattoos for the exact reason you are not😂 (But Im open to one piece shots on my leg or other arm, just need my wallet to recover)

    Blowout?

looks fine to me,in 6 weeks when it heals more it should look great.
  27. Can anyone complete this design? I need some ideas. This was a coverup that went wrong. Any ideas on where to go with this tattoo? I am okay with color and love the watercolor designs.
