  6. I lost a friend over the weekend. Marty was brilliant and he was also a mess. He told stories that were almost never true, but he also had a kind and empathetic heart. When he listened to you, you knew he was listening. Not sure why I am posting it here...some sort of memento mori, or epitaph? Not sure, I just wanted to let the world know that I loved my friend.

    Chris Conn is back!

He should hide golden tickets in candy bars like Willy Wonka. I am really excited about this news, for one that his health is doing good and two that I might actually be able to have the experience to be tattooed by Conn. I almost thought I was dreaming last night as I checked my facebook before bed and heard this news.

  20. Keep your tattoo clean using dial and moisturize twice a day using a non-scented lotion an you will be fine. I use a light layer of A&D ointment once a day for the first three days. If you have a shitty immune system regarding to colds/sinus infections/pneumonias it won't effect the tattoo. Just don't be around people who have MRSA and shit.

  21. I think everyone is missing the real point... now that person can use either the MENS or LADIES room, no more waiting on line to break one off or tap a kidney. CG

    18 Years in the Biz

Some people don't get that there is a difference between 18 years of experience and 1 year of experience 18 times. :-)

  27. as i've figured out what i'm going to do for my thighs when the time comes, and as my fiancee has gotten more into tattoos and following certain tattooers, we've decided to do a multi-trip, possibly multi-year honeymoon. New York, San Francisco, and London are definitely happening. we have a load of friends from the iron cast sculpture community all over the U.S.A. and U.K., so if it came down to it, we could couch surf for parts of those trips (London especially... unlikely for a kid from Kansas). eventually, we reached the conclusion that it'd be worth the time waiting and money spent to try and get tattooed by the best in the world.

  28. Hey All, Being from Ontario I know how hard it can be to find good tattooers, especially doing Japanese work. For those interested you've got an awesome chance this month. Horitoshi1 family Horimitsu from Tokyo will be doing a guest spot at TCB Tattoo in Toronto from May 16th to 26th. The shop is located at 618 Queen St West (near the beer store). Open from 12-8pm daily. Appointments can be made by calling the shop at 416-203-1516. You can view his work here JAPANESE TATTOO

  34. Third that motion. Prison work, well, the technique could be, I've seen blackwork come out of Statesville looks better than anything I've seen in a "legit" parlor, but I've never seen anyone get hit with kanji and all the other oriental type work that boy is wearinng. I have Brothers that are sleeved, that have full back pieces, that have their legs covered, but it's all "street" themed, if ya catch my drift. .02

  36. I like the 'dislike' idea. I know on youtube if I see a video that has way more dislikes than likes I know it's gonna suck and don't bother with it. Maybe it would be help people who don't know a good tattoo because then they can say oh well 50 people have disliked this and only one has liked, I guess I shouldn't go to someone who does work like this.

  37. P.s everyone start going nuts hitting 'like' on the better tattoos ;)
