how about returning this thread to latest tattoos....?

Time for another contest. RULES: The tattoo photos posted in this thread will be submitted for polling of Last Sparrow's Best HUMAN PORTRAIT tattoo. This is all in good spirit and fun of course. The submission process opens on the 1st of the month and ends on the 20th of the month. After that there will be an open poll for one week, which will close on the 27th, and the tattoo with the most votes wins. Your tattoo picture must be posted in this thread (both tattooers and tattoo customers can win) in order to qualify. Include tattoo artist name & tattoo shop with your photo/post. You MUST be the one who has the tattoo or did the tattoo. It MUST be a finished tattoo. It MUST fit the theme of the contest. Each member may submit up to 3 tattoos for each contest. The theme of March is: HUMAN PORTRAITS

He didn't go crazy on shading just in case I decide I want him to put color in it before I leave NZ but I think I like it black for now. My mother has been of the mindset that I should do what makes me happy, and has been even more supportive than usual lately since my Type 1 Diabetes diagnosis last October. My father, on the other hand, wasn't as supportive. He felt it would be something I would regret, and for the month prior to my tattoo, made sure to let me know that I would regret it. I went through with it anyway, and love the tattoo. My first was this past November, and my second was a little over a week ago. I don't know if I'll ever regret them later in life, but I sure as shit don't regret them at the moment.

Promoted to 2nd Permanent Brown tonight! Learned my new form, Palgwe 6, taught to me by my son, tho he had to do pushups b/c *I* knew the definition of Palgwe and he didn't haha. Didn't break my boards on the first try..second try...third try..frustrating b/c I've never *not* broke first try on a palm strike. Managed to break the two boards on my jump reverse kick-on the fifth try argh! So glad that doesn't count against us at test. Epcot is SO much fun--hands down our favorite park there.

I completely understand where you are coming from. I actually like the tattoo, and I believe most people will. I have pieces on my that I would get redone if it were "easily" possible, but the reality is that only i notice the little flaws - no one else does. Don't worry about going back to the same artist to have something changed - especially if you like them. They get that all the time and have very thick skin. All great artist want you to be happy and are usually willing to make changes or additions. Good Luck!

I've already called them. They are on it. I've read his posts, and he has given advice. But you guys are big fans, clearly, so you feel free to take his advice. :-)

Meh, messy tattoo I'd rather look at a tattoo than read a paragraph. Too much text. A picture is worth 1000 words.
