  2. Aaand my 2nd tattoo in the Bucharest convention, Hannibal by Goran Micic :) Hannibal Lecter: If I help you, Clarice, it will be "turns" with us too. Quid pro quo. I tell you things, you tell me things. Not about this case, though. About yourself. Quid pro quo. Yes or no?

  3. Assuming it isn't infected, it looks like you may be putting too much lotion on it. Your skin is healing an open wound. It need to be kept clean and to have air - both. Just a very light amount of lotion - or none at all for those here who "dry-heal" will serve you better than too much. My skin reacts similarly if I use too much lotion during healing.

  7. Don't over moisturize. You can smother it and prevent it from healing, as @Gingerninja said.

  8. Hey there...as @el twe said, let it settle in. Blowout can happen to anyone not matter how many years experience they have. Happy healing! I have some blowout...it does fade a bit.

  9. Oh, even if it is blowout I'll still be happy with it. I know that nothing is ever perfect and there is a ton of meaning behind the little guy. :) I'm just hoping to have one less thing to worry about, but I'm thrilled to have it done! The artist who did it has 47 years of experience and I was impressed with his profile, so he definitely seemed to know what he's doing.

  11. Too soon to begin nit-picking your tattoo - give it several weeks. And even then, don't nit-pick your tattoo. None of them are perfect under a microscope...

  12. Finally snapped some pics of my squidpant-in-progress. Pretty sure all of these tattoos have been posted on LST, just not all healed and together. While I'm looking forward to adding more to it, I'm also really happy with where it's at at the moment... From oldest to newest: bicycle dropout by Gordon Combs, rose/dagger by Jeff P., wolf by R.H. Wells, umbrella/clouds by Tron, rooster, by Gordon Combs, tiger by Chad Koeplinger, skull/rose by Jeff P. Thanks for looking.

  13. It'll take a few weeks or even months before your tattoo is fully healed/settled, and the black and grey should become much more pronounced (or at least less red), so don't sweat it.

  15. so go get a touchup like you said.no big deal. and I agree the thin blood thing shouldn't be an issue.

  16. Go easy on the lotion. It's a fresh wound. Yes, you need to keep it lightly moisturized but it has to breathe to heal. :)

  17. Brand new shoulderblade piece, 4 days old. Inspired by the cedar waxwing, my favorite bird, and my grandma's pansies (she would have been 120 years old on Friday!) Tattoo by Darcy Nutt at the Richmond convention, blending in beautifully with her previous work the past two years on my SA cichlid/floral half-sleeve. I'm definitely one of Darcy's "nuts" P.S. All of Darcy's tattoos are free hand

  18. Nush Turner, Black Market Tattoos, Leicester No meaning, other than I love Japanese Mythological creatures (tho don't like the tattooing style on me). I asked for it to wrap around the forearm. I asked for B&G with colour, it's a preference of mine at times, my ribs have that too Thigh booked next & on Oddboy's list for next year
