  1. Almost done with this sleeve. I've got to figure out a few more filler pieces. Not really sure what background to go with. This is almost a year in

  2. I don't know if you wanted to expand the sleeve further, but generally the best cure for a tattoo you don't like is surrounding it with more tattoos you do like...so I say make it a full sleeve. If you're really unhappy with that outside part, I feel like with a couple sessions of lasering those straight lines, you could make a really nice geometric themed sleeve kind of like this. You could easily get the other half of that mandala and something incorporating the blank circle:

  4. Settled close to a year I think? Neither of us could remember off the top of our heads.

  5. It's pretty dark. Laser 1st would open up a world of options, and you are going to want to wear the final result forever. Once lightened, go see Annie Frenzel in Austin (used to be in SA).

    Latest tattoo lowdown.....

Needed some blood letting therapy this weekend ... caught my homie Richard Harding at Champion Tattoo (Edmonton, AB) just as he wrapped up another tattoo and he was quite agreeable to stay late on a Sunday to do this walk-in second layer tattoo for me: spider shape is based off some old Pat Martyniuk flash, webbing was part draw on, part straight on with machine. we made waxed some ideads for some upcoming tattoo carnage. Turned out to be a really memorable Sunday evening.

  11. Finished this one with the incredibly talented Kahlil Rintye at Tattoo City here in SF. It came to me in a dream of strange cities.. Cthulhu Rock of Ages, complete with fish-lady from Innsmouth wearing her sacred tiara. Photos don't do it justice. If you ever decide you need a large tattoo, I wholeheartedly recommend Kahlil for the job.

  14. @Valrie11 I realy like the progress on your piece. Very nice. @Dominiccjs 5 days in a row? Omg, thats tough. Congrats, very impressive. Had another session on saturday myself. But as I'm not as bad ass as some other people her, I only managed to get about 3h done

  15. 5 days straight about 40 hours give or take, this is as far as we got, about 1.5 - 2 sessions left. done by dan molloy. these 5 days on my back was easier than my 3 days b2b on my arm. kinda regretting not booking 6 or 7 sessions instead to get it done.

  16. Further on this girl. Today was pretty rough for me. Shading is harder than the outline. More tomorrow.

    Upcoming Tattoos

Chad Koeplinger is coming back to NH next month and I was able to get in with him again. Gonna work on something for the rest of the forearm where he made a torch last year.

    Hello

I hardly ever back down from a challenge. 😜 The owl piece was from just 2 days ago. It’s wrapped up in tegaderm now. We have another session to go. (Bryan Neal at American Tattoo in Knoxville, MD) The heart is in my R inner forearm. My grandpa had almost the exact one in the same location. (Tony “Trustworthy” at Jack Brown’s Tattoo Revival in Fredericksburg, MD)

    The ladies thread

hey @keepcalm , I only have one arm tattoo so far , its on the under/ outer side of my forearm. My arms aren't massively hairy, but the artist did need to shave the area anyway and the hair grew back no different to my other arm which is tattoo free in the same area. Everyone is different I guess, but I woud assume as a once off you woudnt notice much difference. I remember a girl in high school shaved her arms all the time and the hair always grew back rather intense, but my guess is that's due to the repeated shaving.
