  3. My two days old tattoo, i'm really excited for it, love it! I did it on my "virgin" leg, as i want to dedicate this leg to this style of line work tattoo :) As a note, on my left leg i have colour neo traditional tattoos, on my left arm realism black&grey and on my right arm colour realism. I like a lot of styles apparently :) Done by Rares.

  4. My red footed booby was finished today. I love the way my sleeve is progressing. When I got my first tattoo a year ago, I thought it was going to be my only tattoo. Hahahaha!!!

  5. Went to the rather excellent Brighton Tattoo Convention yesterday - didn't plan on getting a tattoo... but the marvellous Habba Nero was there handpoking runes.... it seemed rude not to really.... Tis on my lower leg. Never been non-machined before - it was very gentle.

  7. Aaaannnndddd one more: this tiger is an add on from Colin Baker who works at State of Grace Tattoo in San Jose, CA. The tiger wraps around the inside of my right thigh. The Lady Warrior tattoo was completed in August earlier this year. The tiger was an add on. He also completed a very intricate Rat Warrior (yup the Chinese zodiac thing is lit on my leg), but that one was done on the back of my thigh. When I can figure out how to do a 360 degree shot of my leg, I'll post pictures of the complete battle scene. The Chinese calligraphy that I posted above, compliments this battle scene. Loosely translated it means: Brave woman, escape the ordinary.

My foot was done by Brittany at Inspiration Ink in Innisfail, Alberta, Canada. So glad both of my feet are now done. 17. I think for most people this won't look like much has been done, but oh well! All of the black/shading, with the exception of some clouds we're going to add, is now done. All of the lining, too. We had to line two more dragon feet and I thought I was going to die. If I never see another liner that size again, it'll be too soon! So now we get to start color after this, and I can't wait. Greg Whitehead and all that.

  18. I got my second tattoo yesterday on my inner bicep. It's a realistic (black & gray) hourglass with the words "Memento Mori" written in the upper part of the hourglass board. All in all it was a great experience, though it was a little more painful than my first tattoo. It is also a little swollen but the skin on the inner bicep is tender, so that's should be expected. Thanks to Eric Rignall from Inkstop Tattoo in NYC! [emoji1319] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  21. Little late here. Got this one waaayyyy back in November of 2015 from Chad Koeplinger while he was at Tattoo Paradise in DC. Tough to get a good pic because of the way it wraps, but you get the idea.

  22. Here are the end results of my trip to Denver. My wife got some balloons and I got a praying mantis. Both by Destroy Troy at Til Death. Great shop and fun artist. Also, The Cure was fantastic, the beer was cold and I used Saniderm for the first time.

  41. Here's my baby! Seven hours down, an estimated two to go to finish up. Done by the incredible Erick Holguin of Ink & Dagger in Roswell, GA. It got a little sore at the end, but he was so gentle/light handed that it was smooth sailing for the majority of it. It's in memory of my mother, who loved cardinals, and is even better than I ever imagined.

  43. Carried on to Italy from florian Karg to Silvano Fiato today :) What a true gentlemen and artist! Just came out from his studio. I only went to join the face to my knee but he insisted on working on me for 5 - 6 hours for free including the knee joining. He always thought the first piece I had done by him was very plain and didn't push his skill level and wanted to at least do as much with her as he possibly can. So he reworked her face some, blended it into the new piece, ready for the final piece at the back next year. Personally i liked the previous one but now that he has added more shading and depth I much prefer the new piece. Once the swelling goes down and redness it should look awesome. He went over the house in places to make it darker but he couldn't continue or put any white in her eyes, lips or house as my skin is too raw. He will see it all healed next year and add more to it. To be honest I have had enough of being tattooed, feel really drained and tired. I am going to make my new appointments for late next year and take a year out, I think my body needs it :) He didn't touch the train as he said when this settles and heals it will be the right shade. Personally I love the depth he has given her.

  44. Florian is really fast, well fastest artist I've had work on me. My idea of course didn't work lol not enough room so we had a compromise. He has never**done a spider before, so I broke his virginity. 5 hours for this but this place is so painful and sensitive. Shit pics, red raw and swollen. I personally love what he has done. The space was a lot smaller than we thought :) Tomorrow off to Silvano again!

  45. I got a thing today. Hard to believe it too me almost 33 years to finally start. A fun Percy Waters bird from Greggletron/Greg Whitehead at Scapegoat Tattoo. I stole the picture from his instagram. Side note: I really appreciate this forum. I went to my appointment totally prepared and actually knowing more than the average bear (which is still only a very little, admittedly), and he kept asking me 'are you sure this is your first tattoo?' He kept talking about how pumped he was to work on somebody who'd give him creative license, who knew about Good Tattoos and what makes them good, and...yeah. It made me feel really good. I'm pretty sure I learned all of that here. He would probably thank the forum too if he could. Haha. Booked my next appointment for October. IT BEGINS.

  48. Literally just got home from getting my elbow / forearm done. Typing with one hand is kind of a bitch. Anybody have any methods to help stop yourself from twitching? She had to make a couple lines thicker to cover up where I had a little spasm. Surprisingly, the elbow was one of the least painful parts. Wrists are a tender area, apparently. :p Caroline Tattersall from Good Point, if anyone is in the area. She did my other one for me, as well. Sorry for the shitty picture, cell phones, eh?
