    Penis tattoo advice

    1. You've only been thinking about this for a month or so 2. You don't have any other real tattoos or tattoo experience 3. Any tattooer who might be willing to black out any novice's genitals would be highly suspect in my book . . .

I've got an idea... stab it a couple times with a sharp object and see if it's as great as you think it will be. 😵

If you don't have many other tattoos, why on earth would you even consider this? It makes me concerned for your mental health. This is a terrible idea, and I would run in the other direction if I were your partner or your potential partner. No. Just no. I think you are a troll, but I answered you seriously. Because good lord, what if you are not?

    Is it really that bad?

If you want perfection, don't get tattoos. NO tattoo is perfect. It's not a drawing on a piece of paper. OF COURSE it distorts when you bend your arm, your skin is not fixed, it moves and stretches. I don't see anything wrong with that tattoo at all. Take a deep breath and live with it for a few months.

You got two AMAZING pieces! @Kevinb52 The Baku with the Oni really is one of the coolest tattoos that I've seen. It's funny that we were both in with the same guys on the same day (great minds). This weekend was: Grez - ray gun (the entire neurosurgery team today lost their collective sh1T when they saw it today) Dan - kappa Stewart - hannya Nick Colella - Chicago gorilla (great story on that one) Hendricks - panther head and rose I'll say it again...I LOVE Pagoda. When I was walking out, I was thinking that I was able to get tattooed by artists from three countries, as well as three different regions of the US all while in Wyomissing, PA. Makes me a little giddy.

  8. Haha, @Bearcat78 messaged me about that Dan tattoo, but I left pretty early Saturday morning. That tattoo is sooooooo sick! I got a Pharoah's Cats from Scott Sylvia on my stomach. Nice to see and meet a whole bunch of people from here this weekend!

Nothing wrong with the execution of that tattoo. If "perfection" is what you're looking for in tattoos then you probably shouldn't be getting any.

IMO you won't find two little twigs that are mirror copies of each other in nature,IMO it's looks great the way it is ! I think it looks better the way it is than it would if each side was identical.

  12. Got a shark on my leg from Matt Howse at Idle Hand, and the next day my brother got a similar shark on his right shoulder. Matt's sharks are the best, and he's a great guy. Turns out we went to the same high school. What are the odds?

  14. Even taking the tattoo out of the equation I'd be going to see a doctor . . .

    Bruising or blowout?

^this. and it could still just be bruising, too. Relax and wait another month.

I'm going with not a good idea. The pain level would be extreme and yeah, after years it's most likely be way faded. Do you have other tattoos?

That's not a good idea by any stretch of the imagination, but it's your money, and your penis.

  18. Looks fine. Just quit putting stuff on it and let it heal.

I like it! In six months you won't even be thinking about it. Like Hogrider said, there is no such thing as a perfect tattoo and the idea that a tattoo will stay the same forever, or that a tattoo can even be "perfect", is a myth. Welcome!

    Thanks

It takes 4 - 6 weeks to fully heal. You won't know what it's going to look like until then. It may take longer for your mother to get over it.

  24. Go see a doctor. This isn't normal, but there is no way of knowing what is causing it.

  25. This update probably won't matter to anyone but I'll post it anyway haha. I saw another dermatologist who doesn't believe it's an allergic reaction because I already have grey tattoos and allergies to grey ink are extremely rare, also tattoo allergies typically represent reactions on the surface of the skin, not swelling underneath like mine. Infection is also unlikely because the reaction is localized only to the area where the needle hit the skin. He believes that the tattooing was perhaps too aggressive which created a deep tissue wound which caused excessive inflammation, thereby preventing proper healing and perpetuating more chronic inflammation like a vicious cycle. I started using a powerful steroid ointment today and the swelling has gone down considerably. Hopefully by keeping the inflammation under control the deep layers of the skin will heal properly.

  27. there's just really no way to tell right now, but it's probably just the natural healing process. in my experience people new to tattoos tend to worry more than is warranted. it'll probably be fine. and if it isn't you can ask the artist to touch it up in like 4 months or something.

  28. Advice on what to do - nothing. Until it heals you don't know what it's going to look like and until you know what it's going to look like, you can't make an informed decision on what to do, if anything. I don't see anything wrong with it from the pics, but again, it's too early to tell.
