  1. I just got this tattoo on my left shoulder. The way it’s placed it moves soooo much when I move my arm. It also feels like it’s too forward but the guy that did it kept telling me that I don’t want it placed back too much. Hoping for some feedback on how it looks from an outside perspective. I fear I’ve totally ruined my arm with this tattoo. Would really appreciate your feedback. Thx:)

  2. “ I lathered aquaphor on and wrapped my arm...” That’s probably your problem. You should use as little as possible. The goal is to keep ithe skin from drying out, not to drown it. To much can clog the pores and cause pimples, among other problems. Taking antibiotics that you don’t need won’t help and putting more ointment on already over-moisturized skin will only make things worse. Get a grip and calm down.

  3. It is three days old. Let it heal. Just keep it clean.

  4. Yeah, I’m not that worried anymore. The rest looks perfectly fine, it’s just that tiny spot. Thanks for letting me know!

I'd see a dermatologist for piece of mind. I've never had it happen, it doesn't automatically mean there is a serious issue with it.

  6. Nice. Every heal can be different. After a couple hundred hours of getting tattoos, I finally got my first real scab and it was a doozy! Then I was washing it gently with a wash cloth and it caught on the label and ripped off. It bled forever. Haven't had one since. Every heal can be different, but in general, they take 4-8 weeks and if there is not oozing, smell or real pain, you're probably fine. Good luck, it's a nice tattoo.

  7. There is no reason to repeatedly get a tattoo touched up. Go to someone else to get other tattoos. @onlyme Do you have any tattoos? Share photos. I'm confused by your sudden appearance here and all the advice you give when we've never seen any tattoos. What's your story?

  8. Your arm moves. Your tattoo will move with it. Quit obsessing and just get more tattoos. It's fine.

  14. Are you seeing a dermatologist? At this point, I'd be seeing a derm not a regular doctor.

  15. I think it’s odd if it needs touching up even once within a year.
