    Who HAS tattooed you?

First tattoo I was 15 and a friend made an anarchy symbol on my arm with a homemade machine in Lafayette IN 2nd was a guy I met camping on a beach in Ensenada Mexico in a microbus, we were in one too. Cooked him breakfast and he made a yin yang type thing on my other arm Those were the kid aged tattoos. I didn’t get tattooed again until I was in my 30s and had raised kids to the point of having disposable income. In order of their first time tattooing me: Martin Bee (Tipi man), Denver CO Jereme Galloway, Bloomington IN x3 Scott Sylvia Marina Inoue, everywhere USA x2 Joe Haasch, Dallas TX Ashley Matthias, Manchester NH x6 Chad Koplinger, Nashville TN x4 Stenvik Moström, Atlanta GA Taka Cooper, Hudson Valley Tattoo

    Tattoo blowout??

Blow-outs happen and there is nothing you can do to fix them. Tattoos take 4 - 6 weeks to fully heal; you'll know what it's going to look like then. No tattoo is perfect. Enjoy the big picture, don't sweat the details.

  3. Background scenery behind cherry tree (mountains) and put a close up foreground object at base of tree, maybe a bunny or fox, with some atmosphere elements (cherry blossom petals) to tie in any between spaces.

  8. Black is the easiest color to have removed.... Question: were you dead set on that design from the get go? And did your tattooer try to steer you away from going for the wrist forest at all?

Thanks for replying!! I like both of these ideas, but I've decided to put my sleeve on hold for a while, until I'm certain I know what I want :) instead I'm working on an underboob tattoo :D

    The Journey So Far...

@Devious6 , I will try and update soon :) @Soraya , Oh I would love to see what you have ! And your plans sound great! It sucks that work gets in the way for some. I work at a school so I just adjust my clothes to suit, My pipes stick out a bit but nobody is fussed. Though as I get more on my arms I will just adjust my wardrobe.

    The Journey So Far...

My hubby is that way too! He is the one that first suggested that I consider getting a tattoo. It was kind of sweet and awkward and funny because he went out of his way to be polite and respectful, and he sort of hemmed and hawed before he got the words out. At first I wasn't at all interested, but decided that it might be a fun adventure, and it would please him to boot. Of course I loved it and one thing led to another and I got many more, and will continue. My husband is very attracted to heavily tattooed women, so it works for both of us. I would like to be totally covered front and back, except head, neck, hands, and feet, and I know that he would squeal on the inside if i did that. But professional considerations must rule for me. I have half sleeves but probably won't extend them beyond the elbows. But I am planning a back piece, and I'm toying with the idea of getting the whole front of my torso covered Japanese style. Then maybe legs to my knees. We shall see... I have told him about my thoughts and he contains his glee pretty well, but I know he would love, love, LOVE for me to be covered (and so would I)!
