  1. Three weeks ago I told myself I'd give it a few months til the next one. The itch is strong. Still waiting on the February SFO convention lineup, though.
  2. Forearm might be on the small side for something like this, but if the artist has skill it'll look good regardless.
  3. Looks fine! Remember that it's a tattoo and will therefore change appearance as it heals and ages, and try not to worry about it. You'll get used to it with time.
  4. She posts here, too! Super talented. Someone else whose work I really admire is Eric Dobleman. He's doing it right.
  5. That's a nice one, would you mind telling us where you had it done?
  6. As much as I dislike Instagram, it can be good for finding artists. Check out the artists in your area and see who's doing skulls and roses that you like, and call one of their shops.
  7. Live with it and don't touch a thing. If you want it to look cohesive later, keep going back to that artist.
  8. "Designated Survivor" is pretty good so far (though it's obviously colored a bit by Kiefer's previous role on 24) and "Superstore" and "The Good Place" are very funny.
  9. Thanks - I don't have that button, though.
  10. Is there a "report spam" or "report post" function that I missed? The spammers are getting crafty.
  11. Check out "Bushido: Legacies of Japanese Tattoos" and "Tattoos of the Floating World" - both by Ryudaibori and both very interesting primers on the subject of Japanese tattoos. He's more of a traditionalist than most but the background he gives is incredible.
  12. Girl heads, skulls, reapers, daggers/swords could all be really cool. Would also be neat to see a weird stuff contest.
  13. Juan Puente did this for me at Black Heart a while ago. Was going to take a healed shot but can't get the angle. It wraps quite a bit.
  14. Ordered! I got in on the special edition run. Ended up with some extra cash in the tat fund after my last appointment, so why not?
  15. I bet that could be covered up with a panther. Check out The Cat Book for some ideas.
  16. I'll be there Saturday getting tattooed by Ron Wells starting at around noon.
  17. Save your nickels and then go to Cats at 2SPIRIT.
  18. Looks fine! Remember that it's a tattoo and not a drawing on paper - skin is a much trickier medium to master and things like that are common. I'd suggest trying not to worry about it. Maybe check in with your artist in a month, but there isn't a whole lot that needs to be done so soon after the initial appointment.
  19. Heather Bailey did this one for me a few months ago. Inside the upper arm is a fun area.
