My oldest is six and she doesn't even see mine or my wife's tattoos. It's like they aren't even there.
My two year old, on the other hand, is checking out what I have for tattoos whenever he has the chance.
I wouldn't be surprised if my daughter never got a tattoo, and my son came home with a hand poked anarchy symbol at 13. Haha.

r2d2 c3po what else can be said for star wars cooks...oh shit STAR WARS its on now.
I saw a pic of some dude that has "ANEW HOPE"
-
I have saved my whole front torso for Jeff Zuck and my back from my neck to back of knees for Rudy Fritsch. Both are going to be travel heavy on me. It's worth it, and will make for great stories.
That's awesome. Good choices.
I have my chest saved for Steve Byrne, and the right side of my ribs for Aaron Coleman. Neither of them are close to Boston. Haha.

My two favorites are: SAND WICH and PLAN AHEA

Chad Koeplinger's name should have come up long ago - dude is so fucking fast that sometimes, I think for laughs, he posts the amounts of times things took under photos on facebook. It's wild. Combination of years and years of practice, as well as years invested finding the perfect machines for your hand speeds... regardless, when you're getting a hguge piece it's so nice to have someone that speedy!
You beat me to it. Chad put down a buzzard that takes up most of the top of my left thigh in about 3 hours. Marcus Kuhn is pretty fast as well.

Dave Fox, Josh Hoffman, Steve Tiberi, aaaaaaaand my brain has shut off for the night.

Wow...I just read through the rest of the thread, and it seems like Mike Wilson is the winner on this one so far. Haha.
-
Mike Wilson seems to be able to make a rad panther without trying very hard.
His panthers are great. I saw a pic of one recently on a girl's hand. It was the head and a claw (paw?) coming out of a cut. So clean. I'm pretty jealous of whoever that girl is.
-
-Steve Byrne or Chad Koeplinger...the fine line work in the leaves that Chad does is rad.
-Colored roses
-Neck, elbow, hand, or as filler in a nice traditional chest piece
-D
-I think that what makes or breaks a rose tattoo, is person that is tattooing it. If a good tattooer is doing it, then you're probably going to end up with a good tattoo.
Sorry for the short answers, but I'm at work. Haha.

I don't have any band or song tattoos yet, but for years I have had an idea for a Motorhead related tattoo floating around in my head that I want Aaron Coleman to do. Too bad he is way out in AZ. Haha.

So far, I think that my ribs have been the worst. The inside upper thigh wasn't much fun either.
-
The outer forearm, the top of the thigh, and the outside of the thigh have been the easiest spots for me so far.
I was getting my ribs tattooed a couple of years ago, and the girl at the booth next to where I was asked her tattooer about the least painful spot for a tattoo was and his very deadpan response was "On someone else."

Welcome to the forum Valerie! You make a hell of a tattoo. My wife is from the UK and introduced me to your work a couple of years ago. I think you two actually chatted a bit when she was getting tattooed by Chad Koeplinger at Frith Street back in early 2008.
-
Patrick! Stoked to see you here, Homie. Love that Zoidberg tat. Who did it?
Thanks man! Dylan Tate at White Tiger Tattoo in Rochester, NY did it.
-
So I like Futurama. What about it?
-
Welcome to the forum dude! I love that Rassier piece, but I'm pretty sure you already knew that. Haha.
-
Your story is both inspiring and majestic.
Seriously though, you do some great work.
Welcome to the forum.

Are you trying to tell me that the offspring of Ozzy Osborne made some poor decisions that they now regret? Hold on, I think that I need to just sit down and catch my breath for a minute.
-
Well it isn't that recent of a story, but the last time I got tattooed, my wife and I got some work from Robert Ryan. He did an anatomical heart with a flower growing out of it and a banner with our wedding anniversary in it.

i've had bad reactions to Aquaphor so i always avoid it now
Same here. Eff Aquaphor.
I heal my tattoos with a nice raw bacon rub and some hooker spit. Kidding, kidding. A few hours after getting tattooed, I wash the tattoo, and then leave it uncovered and let my body take care of the rest for the most part. If things start looking a bit dry, then I use some Lubriderm sensitive skin shenanigans.

Thanks for the greetings everyone.
Rob_Gilk...Orrin Hurley did the Lord Sharkington piece. Check out his work, if you haven't already. Hopefully this weekend, I will have a bit of time to get some more pics of my collection up.

i dont give a fuck why a person gets tattooed. and if all i had to do were memorial tattoos all day long where the client cries throught out the tattoo while explaining to me how they miss their dog, id fucking kill myself.
and im not really a hugger unless you got really big boobs. so they aint necessary after i do spiritual paw print tattoo.
Haha!
Good call on "The Office" styled show, Mario.

Damn I wish I could go!

Just saw the picture of your beard... Man I'd think you were smuggling something in there too! haha
That picture is actually my passport photo, which I got just before the last time I traveled. The beard got trimmed pretty close at the beginning of the summer, but is on its way back to glory as we speak. Haha.

When I first posted in this thread (almost 4.5 years ago ha!) I said my ribs. The palm of my hand was so much worse. SO MUCH WORSE.
