    the body art expo is one of the biggest pile of shit conventions there is. scratcher fest. do not ever support this event in any city or you are supporting the enemy of quality tattooing.

    Tony Morrell's work is very similar to Filips. Tony has been tattooing for 21 years now and has worked for me at Jinx Proof for 15 years. he is mostly into doing big Jap pieces and is a great tattooer that is not very well known......and i don't think he gives a shit. just another reason why i like him.     anyone operating a good laser that "pushes the envelope", will soon find himself in a horrible situation. not all lasers are alike, in fact for tattoo removal, most suck. so who knows what that guy was even talking about. what you should do is do your homework when finding a person to remove your tattoos. check reviews and find someone who's been lasered by that person. you wouldn't let someone tattoo you if you knew of no one that had their work, you could find no reviews, and they had no portfolio would you? its unfortunate, but not many people know how to use the lasers successfully. i guess since none of their friends will show them how or they can't get a hack apprenticeship or they can't learn it on youtube the market is slim pickings. haha. i love it.

    there has been 600 "artists" working this event for the last few years. if you have something to offer, its one of the best shows there is. too bad about 550 of the tattooers have zero to offer. LOL.

    my daughter tattooed me at age 8. its was awesome. i told my son he could as well (he was 5) but he wasn't into it. haha. they have both been to the shop a bunch and they LOVE to trace and color flash. it was (and is) a great experience.

    permanent mark rules. from his facebook yesterday: "For fuck sake,quit wishing sailor jerry a happy birthday,u dident know him,he wouldent like u,or me, and hes rolld over enough in hes coffin to last 4 life times!he was a bastard,a talentd one,but hes not ur emo freand!" he was the godfather, the link to ed hardy and modern tattooing.........but celebrating his 101st b'day with half price tattoos?? really?? jesus christ.

    i love how everyone is celebrating his birthday now. why didn't they last year? or 5 years ago? or 15 years ago? just another thing in tattooing thats ridiculous.

    thats when i was working, i was piercing back then. freddy worked there and eric of course. nate sponsler, vinny.......... freddy and eric would sit in that hot room upstairs with no A/C, wearing leather pants and no shirts, blasting "the chronic" all day. it was interesting to say the least. sonny tufts worked for a while then, jef whitehead and shannon shirley did guest spots. i met alot of cool people during that time, but sacto sucked.

    that image was drawn at my request dating back to 1970's biker tattoos and specifically a tattoo on an old friend of mine. i own that painting and he tattooed it on my leg (minus the SS bolts) and i love it. again, obviously its going to have some shock value, and the artist is no more of a nazi than i am.

    neither does much if anything for laser pain relief. maxilene and dr numb are the best for getting tattoos, way better than emla, but still not much relief for getting tattoos removed.

    topicals generally offer no relief from laser tattoo removal. even injections are not a guaranteed pain reducer.

    it was 100% set up. there is ZERO reality in "reality TV". but at least they used Rick walters instead of some douche.
