the ROA is one of my favorite designs. i have a giant one that freddy outlined on my thigh in '95/'96 and was shaded/colored by higgs. its a keeper for sure. maybe i'll post a pick when i get a chance.

i have tats by many of the guys named in this thread, and most healed very quick and perfectly, i was just pointing out that not every fast tattooer is the most proficient at putting them on AND having them look good a year later.

no. your on target. IMO, you can add anything overly whipshaded, anything bike related, owls, umbrellas, and the like.

cocaine addiction is rough. i spent 2 solid years using on a daily basis along with other drugs, but the cocaine was always in me. rehab for me was a must and AA meetings daily since. a complete life change was the only way and it has still been very hard. give her a few ultimatums and offer your help (rehab/AA/NA). but allowing her to stay in your house is only hurting her. its enabling her. she will not quit until SHE is ready. no matter what you do.

my daughter tattooed me at age 8. its was awesome. i told my son he could as well (he was 5) but he wasn't into it. haha. they have both been to the shop a bunch and they LOVE to trace and color flash. it was (and is) a great experience.

i think its important to see the tattoos of some of these "fast guys" healed. cause i have seen plenty of a few of them and they are rough. and it wasn't entirely the fault of the person healing it.....

i was in his hong kong shop in '91 and that was qiute an experience. between the what looked to be young gang kids in the waiting room playing some kind of card game to the flash that covered the shop. i had been in quite a few tattoo shops by then and had tattoos, but seeing that kind of street shop in hong kong was something i won't forget. my hats off to the old man. RIP.

Jef is painting alot more now and flying east to work at the upcoming richmond (virginia) tattoo convention in november. his tattoos are looking really clean and that Deno tattoo is proof of it. that thing is slick, and he did it at my shop in DC. i have a bunch of Jef tattoos but not anything thats been done in the last 10+ years.

i build machines to use daily, they might look good, they might not. but they are walk in killers. liners AND shaders have a nice throw, medium speed, and hit fairly hard. versatile, smooth with a wide powerband. $400 includes shipping to the USA and Canada.

the person who apprenticed you should have no problem answering this question. ask him/her. lol.

i would charge $200 per session for a tattoo like that. less if i knew you were travelling from far away. look into it further or even travelling, because if you try to cover that its gonna be bad news.

to me, there is no difference between a hipster and people that must attain every douche tattoo that's hip this week by a tattooer who's the same. hipster track bike guy vs hipster steam punk guy vs hipster tattoo guy.........its all the same to me.

playboy in the lobby would be fine in my eyes (although and mags in the lobby isn't my thing), XXX is ok in an employee bathroom or rest/drawing area. anything else is ridiculous. i mean, who needs printed porn with whats on the interwebs??
