Ursula's right though, take a look around this website, and see what quality of work we like. Out of interest, did the guy actually draw these or did he have a book of skull themed flash he used for these?

Nah bro none of this stuff is done on ANYONE, its all mostly FREEHAND really. He took things i LIKED and found on my laptap and drew up SIMILIAR outlines and then put his own touch/work in it. Im not saying anyones work is "better" than anyones or anything like that. I just thought the community here acted/treated me pretty SHITTY/RUDE just because i had a friend do my work, rather than paying a few GRAND, and the ONLY reason some of it looks KIND OF BAD is cuz i LITERALLY been gettin shot on for 3 days STRAIGHT, even by fresh work, which if anyone has even got a piece done. then worked off of it the NEXT DAY then you know what im saying, my arm is SWOLLEN bad, and really red at the moment, but ill do a CLOSEUP of my favorite piece on my arm so you can see the detail in it..

I like EVERYONES style of work here, ive been lookin around this site A LOT since I joined, and there is a TON of AMAZING work, but for what I paid I think I have a pretty nice sleeve in progress here. Im one of those people who HATE color in my tattoos though, i got a LITTLE bit of color YEARSS ago in my rib-cage piece and i didnt like it once the color was added, so since then its been strictly BLACK/GREY only.

Also im more of the "shade lover" i get tattoos like I have because I likee/ and im into the whole death/skull/ demon/ghost theme which if you look close you can see a LOT more than just the BIG eye catching pieces. I just got some more fill in done last night and it was hurting so bad next to my fresh work from the day before (a 8-9 hour session I did monday) but it was wayyy too sore so we are holding off now until the end of next week before he touches me again.

Ill try to get a digital cam, and whipe off my arm real good so it takes that "wet shine" look/glare off of it so its more clear. I paid 200$ for my half sleeve and I THINK it looks sick so far, i have some tats i got in the joint a while back anyways, so i like the whole "prison style" tatoos/shading..

Anyways thanks for the SOMEWHAT less ruder comments/remarks guys. Ill probably fade off to another forum anyways since this place seems to only welcome people with "professional shop/convention" artwork onlyy.

You got tattooed for nine hours straight in your dining room by someone who doesn't work out of a shop? You should have read some threads and watched some interviews here before posting... Lol he has worked in shops before dude. He got A felony charge and has done most of his work in prison. Try gettin someone to rent a booth to you with a felony charge for murder ? haha taking pics now . Its not garbage work or i wouldnt be getting it, ive known this guy for a long time and he knows his shit man, he just went down the wrong path and cant be "pro" in a shop like others.

Dont disrespect and knock someones work without even seeing what they are capable of. I dont like colors so ALL my sleeve so far is black and im putting SOME grey into the shade as a final touch once Its all the way done/ and healed, that will be my last shooting with him when I do that. So what I want to say other than welcome to LST is I hope the site gets you into some tattoo shops as well as exposing you to a new level of tattooing that you should expect and want! I am intrigued to see the tattoos you've gotten as it sounds like you're filling a lot of space in a short period of time......

Well, Its not that I wouldnt LIKE to get some PROFESSIONAL work done in a SHOP, Its just that I dont have LOADS of CASH to pay for the time of a professional shop artist.

And FORTUNATELY for ME I know a good friend of mine who has been doing tattoos for a LONG time and gives me AWESOME DEALS!! Ive only paid about 200$ for my LATEST work and its ALMOST an entire HALF sleeve, and from what ive heard and seen that is DAMNN CHEAPP for how much work has been put into my half sleeve already!

Anyways, thanks for welcoming me to the site!! Im goin to get my girlfriend from work then Ill be back and Ill put some pics up bro!!

My FRIEND who does MOST of my work (not in a shop: in my dining room LOL): We have been working on my HALF SLEEVE now for like 3- 3 1/2 weeks, almost a month.

Well last night we decided to do a LONG SESSION and do FOUR(4) pieces AND some fill in last night.

SOO: In other words, i sat thru a 9 hour session last night: ALL on my right arm (half sleeve piece) : Ill post pics as soon as i wake up. Need some shut eye, i was up til 2:30AM gettin this done and im SORE considering i just got my back bicep piece done 5 days ago before last night longg ass session hahaa

BlazeAlot here , im 23 yrs old, born/raised & residing in Cincinnati,Ohio.

I must say I feel a bit NOOBISH here compared to other members. I dont have any ink done from any super well known artist, or artist that I had to fly/ travel to go see and get work done.

HOWEVER, non the less I AM a tattoo ADDICT and lovee getting ink done, so i do feel as if i fit in here in the community at LEAST a little bit considering the work I have done .

I started gettin tattoos when I was 16 and have been hooked on them since!, I slowed down the past few years, however I have my fair share of work done. NONE of my ink is done in a shop EVER, all my work has been done by friends I know/ grew up with.:

I currently have my entire right side ribcage covered, I have dedication piece for my nephew (3months old) who passed away recently: :( --- I have one on my stomach, on the UNDERSIDE of my left bicept: and then i ALMOST have HALF SLEEVE done on my right arm. *finishing it TODAY! (7/12/2011) . All I have left is a SMALL fill piece, then some smoke shading fill in/ and cheese/stretch skin to do!!

I have plans for my left arm to get a half sleeve as well THIS YEAR so you can tell I DEF have the "ink fever" addiction so I should feel right at home here!! I was up ALLL night doing a 8-9Hour session LAST NIGHT so i barely have ANY SLEEP but I WILL post some pics tonight of ALL my work I have done on me! ;)

So having told you a little about myself and my tattoos, Im gonna get some shut eye now until my fiance gets off work!! thanks for everyones time who reads my introduction here at LPT and im looking forward to becoming a REGULAR and long time member here with all of you!!

Im from cincinnati,Ohio and I just sat through ALMOST 9 HOURS last night working on my sleeve! I got 4 pieces and some fill in done last night, and let me tell you my arm is POUNDINGG today! It seemed like once we got past 4-5 hours, EVERY spot hurt worse than it should have.

In the past 2 1/2 weeks ive done almost and entire half sleeve. Just got some fill in/ connecting left to do now!!
