  1. The only thing I ever use is Trader Joe's Midsummer Night's Cream (unscented moisturizer). Inexpensive and effective.
  2. Same to you @Dan @DJDeepFried and I went to our boxing class and then our daughter and I made chocolate chip cookies! We're going to watch fireworks out the window when it gets dark... our neighborhood goes nutso with illegal fireworks.
  3. Thank you @9Years, I was trying to watch Beware of Mr. Baker but Netflix wouldn't cooperate! The title would pop up and then vanish... Same thing happened with the Jimi Hendrix doc I tried to watch (Hear My Train A Comin'). I did see Last Days Here a while back, really good! Which also reminds me of another good one, Anvil. I'll look for Muscle Shoals.
  4. Been watching lots of documentaries... RUSH: Beyond the Lighted Stage All This Mayhem (tragic story about the Pappas brothers, Australian skateboarders) Life Itself (the Roger Ebert story) and today, The Other One: The Long Strange Trip of Bob Weir All good! All on Netflix streaming. All kind of sad and moving at parts. The Rush one and the Grateful Dead one both gave me a little more appreciation for those bands and their members than I previously had. Really interesting. Need more rockumentaries. Also highly recommend A Band Called Death... about an unknown African American punk rock band in Detroit in the 70s.
  5. Sorry @bongsau @Chemical Burn and @Nina Worthe Some scary and sad stuff going on. Today's a new day.
  6. Isn't there room in your life for pen forums AND tattoo forums?!
  7. I don't think I'm busty enough to have to worry too much about that! For those it does happen to, they probably either a) don't care since saggy boobs are saggy boobs whether you have a tattoo to hang over or not, b) stop wearing revealing clothing, or c) sports bras help pull everything back in place and they only have to be saggy in the shower... ? :D
  8. Hi ladies! So yesterday for the first time I wore one of those sports-bra tops to my hot yoga class instead of a full tank top... This was helpful in getting a better idea of what my body was doing during postures, and good for the heat. But more importantly, I started wanting a tattoo centered on my sternum... Yoga class always makes me think of what tattoos I need! Good idea though, right?! Not this exactly, but this type of placement:
  9. Thank you! :) Well, I think you should. I was worried about the same thing and the good people here at LST pushed me in the right direction. I'm really glad I did it!
  10. here's a healed pic! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. Do you think your friend will let you post a pic of it after it's done @Fala? I had once considered an orchid tattoo myself...never took the next step and probably won't, but would love to see one!
  12. The fist bump has really taken over these days it seems. Sometimes I opt for the low two...
  13. The artist knows what to do.
  14. Yay @beez. First stop...celebratory tattoo! Can't wait to see it. Congrats! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. I've been binge watching Intervention. ;) It's depressing, and I can't watch when they shoot up...but I just keep watching. Sometimes there's a hopeful ending. Then I worry about the people after, but also feel glad I stopped drinking when I did.
  16. You can get better... stay on LST, look through threads, especially Latest Tattoo Lowdown. Talk to more artists... take some more time to formulate your plan.
  17. Yay, can't wait to see what you get! Love his stuff. Met him a couple of times at Memoir, good guy.

  19. That was quite a storm. Good thing I'm in LA.
  20. It was a great experience, what a cool guy Chris is. It was interesting--I left a lot up to him, size/placement/his take on the photo and what he wanted to use from it. But I was imagining it in color (just based on his other work)...even though my arms are all b & g. I hadn't mentioned it, though. So at one point he said something about being psyched to do b & g, since he usually gets asked for color... so I thought, cool then, it'll be b & g! I figured, if he was psyched to do it, and it's what he visualized after seeing my arms, then that was the right choice! - - - Updated - - - Yes, this was her response when I tagged her on facebook this morning: "Whoa! Speechlessly flattered! Love the worshipful gaze, it reminds me of many things...!" <3:)
  21. Ps. Thanks @Lance and @hogg for the push to lady-head. It's inspired by my sister! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
