  6. Thats very true its incredible when friends say that they dont need to go to a "fancy" shop like my partner and I have when we live in London and there is so much talent in every style, there is no need to get a bad tattoo.
  7. My partner and I have tried recommending shops and artists to people according to what they say they want, but weve given up as they never get the tattoos or say theyll just go to the local shop.

  17. Fantastic thread just on quick observation why do certain types of tattoo magazines insist on only putting young girls wearing very little on the cover, often the cover models seem to have relatively few tattoos as well.Im sure there are lots of men with fantastic work as well as older women it would be nice to see some people like this on magazine covers.
  18. These are all lovely positive posts as I have mentioned before my partner and I liking the world of tattooing has shown my eldest daughter that people come in all sorts of shapes and sizes and that there are many people out there doing great work and a tattoo shouldnt be a rushed decision.
  19. I wish my flat smelt of rich mahogany , normally it smells of bleach and cats.
  20. Those are all really interesting posts. S33ktruth its true what you say my 12 year old daughter just collected 11 merit certificates at the end of term.
  21. Hello im Mel and im quite new here , I have a great intrest in tattoos particuarly traditional ones and I am also a parent of three children. I was wondering how any other parents with tattoos feel , has anyone ever felt people judge them because of their artwork or do people just show a friendly intrest? For my own part I hope having tattooed parents will make my children open to all sorts of differences in people . Sorry for long post I love this forum because no one in my circle shares my intrest.
  22. Ms Rad I completely agree with you I love the heavily tattooed look on men and women and would love to reach that point myself one day, however at the mo due to funds, children etc im not at the point where hand tattoos would be appropriate for me , good luck with new job by the way.
  23. I read the link to the Daily Mail in the comments section people were sadly saying very unkind things such as she must be a terrible mother. I can say honestly that my partner and I are both tattooed and I know other members of this fprum are parents and im sure we all do a great job as Jacqui does, it is such a shame people judge in this way.
