Chad Koeplinger's name should have come up long ago - dude is so fucking fast that sometimes, I think for laughs, he posts the amounts of times things took under photos on facebook. It's wild. Combination of years and years of practice, as well as years invested finding the perfect machines for your hand speeds... regardless, when you're getting a hguge piece it's so nice to have someone that speedy!

i worked at chico's so. broadway in st louis, as soon as any black person walked through the door chico would be so ignorant to them, to the point of running them out. if they stayed i would do my best to try and make em feel as welcome as possible. as soon as id start a tattoo someone who was willing to deal with his ignorance, he would wait till the tattoo was half done and then start playing white power music on full volume.

i could go on for days about the ignorant shit this guy did, but to me treating a potential customer like shit with no reason other than race is enough said!

needless to say i dont work there anymore.

its cool to see all the new tattooers getting into watercolors from the gate, It was practically dead when I started out. Good to see it in full force. Some of these kids blow my mind. I think they were painters first. For me it was the other way around.

"an 8 ball will cover it" is always the first thing out of my mouth. i think an eagle can cover anything. ive been seeing a few guys doing some bad ass crazy cover ups lately. im working on covering my first sleeve and a wolf, eagle and scull have worked well to cover heavy black areas

i got a cheap one form seaboard irons, its a little heavier than some bt its sturdy and last forever
