  1. My wife has promised me a trip to the Uk on our 10 yr wedding anniversary for a sleeve from one of the great artists over there. That's 7 years from now, maybe Valerie will be taking new customers again then?
  2. Thanks for posting this thread, looks like a good flick.
  3. @Our Endless Days - might be worth asking him, I hear he may be planning a trip.
  4. Yeah it's really horrible knowing every irresponsible clown here doesn't have a gun strapped to his leg. I mean, I feel SAFE walking around, that's just wrong!
  5. @Duffa - yep of course the media sensationalise it, and as I said I don't know much. Would love to hear more from you and check out that story you mentioned.
  6. A lot of shops are bikie owned. And apparently if you don't have a connection to a bikie gang your shop might get firebombed. And if course rival gangs shoot up each others shops. It's pretty bad actually. This is just what I've heard, I'm not in the industry.
  7. Absolutely it matters to me, I won't pay to be in the presence of a wanker. It also bothers me that so many people don't have a problem with Den Yakovlev who is a good artist but a Nazi POS.
  8. I bet he started getting those awful tattoos when she was 15 or something.
  9. @Duffa - Mostly healed now and it's looking real nice, definitely the best healing tattoo of mine so far (but I only have 3, not the best sample size). I'll be using this method from now on.
  10. Might be worth asking him what his swastika means. Plenty of them are not tied to Nazis at all. But by your description of the tattoo, it probably is.
  11. I think mechanical things like cars and planes should be tattooed less. All those straight lines never seem to look good on skin.

Excellent app for checking out the latest tattoos from your fav artists, and as said before its on android now. I use it just for following artists from round the world. @ pauljessleah
  13. Very nice! I love Rachi's work. Also, lol @ embiggens - I think detect a cromulent Simpson's reference.
  14. Ah bugger! Well there's no lack of great artists in QLD. Sorry you missed out though!
  15. As I said in another thread, the artist who did my last tattoo told me to keep it wrapped for 3 days as it's less likely to scab (I'm only on day 2 now). I've been washing it 2-3 times per day, let it dry for half an hour and then re-wrap. I've also been changing the dressing as needed so it's not sitting there all soggy. Pretty inconvenient if you're at work though.
  16. @Duffa - Yep, it's been wrapped for the entire time since the tattoo was finished. Except of course when changing the cling-wrap or having a shower. I've washed it about 3 times today and let it dry for about half an hour after each wash. Then put on a tiny amount of bepanthen and re-wrap. I'll let you know how it turns out, but so far there's no noticeable difference than my usual method of only wrapping for the first night.
  17. @Duffa - nope I couldn't do that, but just mopped up the juices every now and then and washed it properly when I got home. It's still seeping a little bit 24hrs later. Stevie suggested I keep it wrapped for 3 days to reduce the chance of scabbing. Usually I don't do that but I'm trying it this time.
  18. @Duffa - I did the same thing, totally worth it! Pic of next Stevie tattoo will be in this thread in a few weeks :)
  19. @Duffa - Yeah I saw some of the flash he's been working on, good luck mate, I hope you get in! He's a super nice guy too. In fact I'm booked in for another tattoo with him in a few weeks.
