Snakes and flowers make great butt tattoos.

I got a course for $50 from the DMV that is 5 hours class, 15 hours riding in 3 days. Then they waive the motorcycle license fee and the written and road test as long as you pass the course.

I've thought about getting my pits done. It's just such a damn good spot to hide a namakubi or some shunga. I've never heard about the damage of the sweat glands so I actually looked it up. From wiki:

First, this is why you should keep your pits trimmed; that bacteria just sits in there and stinks up the place. Second, I'm not an anatomy scholar, but from the sounds of it, if tattooing did indeed damage the apocrine sweat glands, I'd be okay with the loss.
I'm pretty sure that the strip up the middle of a Japanese bodysuit is just superstition and not grounded in reality.

Holy shit I just came up with a great Halloween costume. If you do have full sleeves, you could just put sheer stockings over them and pretend to have the fake sleeve things on.

Feeling pretty tattoo-flu-y, but I have a steak on the way, and then it's time to drink every water and sleep every sleep. So happy that we finished the areas that were the most painful for me during lining, though.

Finally finished the collab with Shige and Gogue last night. Did the lower burgundy chrysanthemum and my nipple, along with a few small touch ups.

It's been a couple months since some serious butt work, I forgot how fun it was. My glorious buttocks create quite the shadow in that lighting, but I've got myself a nice new pink and purple lotus. Also referred to as the big ass lotus, or the big ass ass lotus. Whichever you prefer. Also the blue is finished, and the snake got touched up a little. Very productive.

I was thinking straight across the chest. That way when you squat, shirtless, in front of a mirror, you know you'll always be in the right position.

Started my Japanese crane arm with Yutaro at Seven Doors in London yesterday. Pic nicked from his instagram as I don't have one and the arm is wrapped atm. There is a second crane on the lower arm and more finger waves. 
As I don't have to travel and I'm not in a hurry, we decided not to stress it but do the whole thing in a couple of nice short(ish) sessions. 
Really enjoyed the time at the shop and look forward to going back!

my lady also got a really nice wrist tattoo from Jake. She  liked it so much we went back into downtown on Friday nite and she got a midnite walk-in to get something matching on the opposite wrist. one of the coolest tattoo shops I've been in and really nice folks, great hospitality. can't wait to go back Seattle was an awesome city.

I'm in the class of "being smart" and getting my ass as part of my back, haha.
Honestly, if it weren't for my back piece, I don't think I'd have my ass tattooed.
If I didn't have a one piece, and I were to do a bunch of tattoos, I would just try to make it mesh well. @mmikaoj with a back like yours, I would get some more black pieces. Something that flows well with the curves of the cheeks. I'm sure the guys who did your back would love to tag team your ass. hahaha

Well, if you like green, that's an advantage to getting them green. If you like orange, getting them orange would be an advantage. 
I think I've read that yellow is one of the faster fading colors, but with proper contrast, you still shouldn't need a touch up for many years at least. So it really doesn't make much difference. Kind of depends on what other colors are going in the tattoo, imo. Any progress pics?

My view on pocket watches is that I'd rather look at my phone or a wrist watch if I want to know the time.
